...and Doncic isn't exactly a stiff:

I may start watching the FIBA league once Lavar Ball sends his kids over there. But it won't be a stable league. It'll be one where the team owner is a Turkish arms dealer on a UN Blacklist. And their agent has to bring a Magnum Desert Eagle to contract negotiations.

Oladipo went off for 47 points tonight

Remember when ya said we had a better package than okc lmao

While James has made it clear that he won’t deliberate his uncertain future until the Cavs’ season is complete, there is strong belief in Rockets circles that they’ll have a legitimate shot at landing the four-time MVP this summer. Rival executives also believe the Rockets will have a real chance. And once you really look at it, when you get past all the noise about the Lakers and even the compelling case for the up-and-coming Philadelphia 76ers, it makes all sorts of sense.

The rockets have come up in contention with every single big name free agent in the last 10 years. Its like saying the Lakers have a shot.

You guys see the Sixers vs Pels game? That was fun to watch!!!
I remember that a lot of people in the forum where saying Ben Simmons was going to have a tough time in the NBA because he couldn't shoot.

Definitely was NOT me. Recorded all his college games. Love how he pays.

It would make sense if not for cap space. They would have to gut their roster to get him there, and only via opt-in-and-trade like Chris Paul last Summer. They would need to send significant salaries back and they could only do that by sending Anderson (who Cavs will not want), Ariza AND Gordon. Problem is, why would Cavaliers even want anything to do with that?

I think Rockets with LeBron would be champions.

James is UFA. HE could sign for the MLE. Money shouldn't play a role in that case. James earned a lot of money in his career

Not even LeBron is likely to leave $35M on the table to join Rockets.

Lebron has said that he wants to be the first basketball player to make a billion dollars in his career.

That package fit them perfectly. Dipo and Sabas are flourishing in their new arena.
