Bell and Brooks killing it in Summer League. Surprise. Surpise. Surprise. :ghoti:

5 ppg is killing it?

Outside of the 5x5 game, he's averaging fewer points, blocks and rebounds than Collins (who is playing pretty crappy), and far fewer points and rebounds than Swanigan, and barely more blocks per game.

SO YOU DO CARE AAAAAH
I CAN`T TAKE IT ANYMORE

??? I've been a fan of Bell since watching him in the tournament, despite the fact that I am a Husky and he played for the Ducks.(much to @ripcityboy's chagrin.)

Edit: I just got what you meant after reading it again. Touché.

I feel like this makes more sense. Lets traded players start fresh with their new teams post all-star break

I liked that we got Nurk before the all star break. It let him get a couple games under his belt with his new team and then spend the all star break working with the coaches learning the playbook and defensive schemes.

BNM

Lakers signing Caldwell-Pope.
Jazz signing Thabo Sefalosha. That second one is annoying - he's a very solid player and they're getting him dirt cheap. I'm going to bet that the Jazz don't actually fall off much if at all after losing Hayward.

Could have a better record sans the fact that the conference improved so much. His usage was pretty high and per is lower than Gobert. Rudy is in for a huge season if he can stay healthy... Could be at that sweet spot with usage/efficiency right now though.

Overall I agree with your statement though.

Yeah between Thabo and Mitchell they have done alright the last few weeks.

They lost George Hill and Hayward their two best offensive players.
Jazz were already a team that struggled to score consistently. Now they lost in one off season George Hill, and Gordon Hayward.
Unless the Jazz magically hold teams to 70 points per game, they're going to struggle to score the ball.
Lets not forget Joe Johnson is also 1 year older.

Yeah they definitely will have problems scoring in crunch time unless Mitchell scores like he does in summer league. (Which obviously he won't) But they might be better defensively.

Could you stop going off topic and derailing the thread? We are trying to talk about Paula Abdul and you keep interrupting with stuff about basketball.

Scoring might be a problem, true. But Donovan Mitchell looks very promising (and can also defend) and maybe Rodney Hood will bounce back and become the player they thought he was becoming.
