If I'm Portland I'm offering a starting package of 2018 and 2020 1sts, Vonleh, Harkless, and Aminu for Gasol.
You are really intent on making terrible trades for the Blazers, like shit storm terrible. Marc is 32 and plays the exact same space and position as Nurkic and there is no way in hell he can be an effective PF. 2 future firsts and 2 starters for a redundancy? Come on man you are better than that.

Did Neil pick up the phone or is he still twitting his thumbs?

Neil is realizing he might have spent a bit too much last season because now he has no cap room, is over the Lux Tax, and did all that for the 2nd highest payroll in the league while barely stumbling to a #8 playoff seed.

Vonleh is not starting level and Harkless is a below-average starter at SF. Those two firsts won't bring a good starting level player. You think its shit storm terrible because you overate the hell out of our role players. Theres people that say it's not enough, and people (like you) who say it's too much. That's how I know it's a viable trade idea.

Why can't he play PF? He loves working from the high post and can shoot the 3. If you think it's because he can't guard perimeter PFs, then you don't know what the hell you're talking about. Marc won't decline over the next couple years. His game is predicated on skill.

You'd rather have 4 below average starters, instead of another all-star who fits the system. Its ridiculous. Mediocre players bring mediocre results, and you're in love with mediocre players, so I can only assume you are fine with mediocrity. But I'm not.

c'mon dude...you are making some huge assumptions and seem to have a real problem dealing with alternatives to your views here. Schilly is very astute when it comes to Blazers hoops.....you seem desperate to trade guys that some folks think are valuable to the team. You're on about trade machine scenario 1,000 now...when we're probably not trading anybody before tipoff

If course UTAH is open to a sign and trade for the player that already left them.

If BOS wants to save $6M, we should try to send Aminu or Davis and a future 2nd to a 3rd team to make that work:

Team3 Gets: Aminu/Davis, Future POR 2nd
BOS Gets: 2018 POR 1st, $6.8M Cap Space
POR Gets: Crowder

I doubt Utah gives up more than GH in a S&T, and I don't think they'd give up their pick for Crowder.

Lol, I want to get the team better. I'm thinking of scenarios if what could happen, and discussing it.

I'm tired of POR fans overrating the hell out of our role players. It's tiresome. We have a logjam of mediocre role players and if we could turn a couple into a star or good starter, we'll be fine because we'll still have enough mediocre role players to fill the roster.

CROWDER GETS TRADED FOR NOTHING

Bruh, we really could send Aminu somewhere and use the TPE to send a pick for Crowder? Did Neil consider this?

Yet another team in our division makes a savvy move. We're the only ones who haven't.

A single draft pick would've been a better deal for Crowder. But no, gotta draft Chimezie Metu next year.

Neil could've even made Ezeli's contact waive deadline July 30th instead of June 30th and we could've traded his contract and a pick for Crowder. Smh.
