He should go to Boston if he wants to win.
A--Who says he wants to win?
B--Being "the final piece" to make Boston a contender is a lot of pressure that he may not want
C--Miami is a destination town; not improbable that Miami is able to add another star to him, Whiteside, and Dragic

Just watching Bam and Leaf playing in the 1st half. Bam been solid again matter fact all 3 games he been solid. Leaf he really spread the floor hitting those 3 he also been solid today but he going have to get stronger but most players does.

Gary Harris one of the top SGs in the league? This is news to anyone outside of Denver. Nice young prospect but doubtful he is in the Top-10. Then again, technically, if you are Top-15 you are in the top half which makes you top half and not bottom half.....so I guess there is that.

KD took ten mil less then he could have. In most cases I would commend the player for choosing to sacrifice money in the name of winning, in this case he just comes off as a piece of shit to me.

Completely agree. There's nothing that he can prove to anyone in Golden State. It "feels" like he's trying to build a legacy there, but that ship has sailed.

It doesn't feel that way at all, to me. It seems like he likes being there, likes his teammates, likes the organization, likes playing that style and likes winning. To me, it feels like fans are insisting that he's trying to create a legacy and "lol, won't happen." I don't think Durant really cares about much other than being happy playing basketball.

I actually admire that.

I don't get the hate on Durant, seems like a good dude. He took an opportunity and showed it by the way he balled out in the finals, grabbing finals mvp, he deserved that after putting up with westbrook all those years. Taking that pay cut shows me he enjoyed his moment, he is loving this, completely different than in OKC and he can actually win titles and have fun playing the game within a good basketball culture in GS

I always find it funny, when I sign on, and there are like 50-100 new posts in just one thread. Ok, who stirred the pot this time..... Lmao.

Btw-Welcome @Socnorb11 ! I've spent time on the Nugs forum, and have been lucky enough not to get banned. Yet....

The Durant contract is commendable. Really.

Makes Curry look like kind of a douche tbh. As if I didn't already think he was one.

So you are saying curry is a douche because? he celebrates? not sure

Plus, the Plums stuff would be a GREAT topic of discussion. Probably worthy of its own thread. I think most all of us loved the guy, since he was such a hard worker. He wasn't what we REALLY needed (a beast), but could work awesome for you guys. What's he worth though? Good question....

No because Curry just got PAID.

Curry is worth the contract. Don't know why so many people have a problem with him. Dude is legit and went through injury scares to become who he was. Mad respect.

He doesn't play manly basketball. Whenever Lebron plays against the dude you can tell he feels the same way just by the way he looks at him. Just dont like the guys personality or the way he acts when on the bench.

I dont care that he got paid. Just seems like a dick move to me when Durant, who imo is a better player, takes less and curry didn't take any less. Yes i know curry got paid less because of his injury on his last deal.

I'd put him in the top 10 for sure when you consider that he's a very good defender. Among the ones that are better, only Wiggins is younger.

I mean, we're talking in pretty arbitrary terms all the way around, here, when it comes to comparing players. Which advanced stats do you guys consider the best ones to use?

@Socnorb11 ... Nurkic showed that he could step out and hit a 15' in Portland so to say he "has NO perimeter game" might be at least a little bit of a stretch. That said, I don't want him floating around the perimeter like so many of today's bigs. Plant your butt in the paint where there are few that can deal with you and your your passing ability off the of the block.
Which is exactly what'll happen when he's playing with Collins!

I'm actually not sure that either of those things are likely.

Again, based on DRtg (from Basketball Reference), Jokic was only slightly worse defensively than Nukic, defensively. Offensively, it was no contest.
Nurk was out of shape....this is the difference to me...Jokic can score from all over the court but Nurk doesn't need to on our team. Nurk however has the X factor of swagger....he's intimidating..nothing scarier than a smiling giant that's crushing your house like he was swatting a mosquito
