I actually came to see what you guys think Plumlee is worth, from a salary standpoint. There's quite a bit of talk on Nuggets forums about whether the team should prioritize him or not. I was just curious how fans outside of Denver view him, and Portland fans should be able to respond to that better than others.
I think Plumlee should get 4 years for 50 mil somewhere. He's got a unique skillset and a motor...I'd get him with a footwork coach and shooting coach but he's got the desire....if he could hit midrange shots he'd be a damned good power forward but he'll never be a center

Portland would be a perfect place for a pre-Vegas summer league.

Perfect weather in the summer, two adjacent stadiums in Memorial and Moda, Nike is in town and could sponsor it, this city is also basketball crazy... Why does Orlando and Utah have one? Portland would be perfect.

Lack of hotels, duh.

It doesn't feel that way at all, to me. It seems like he likes being there, likes his teammates, likes the organization, likes playing that style and likes winning. To me, it feels like fans are insisting that he's trying to create a legacy and "lol, won't happen." I don't think Durant really cares about much other than being happy playing basketball.

I actually admire that.
Here's a bunch of words strung together.

I dont care that he got paid. Just seems like a dick move to me when Durant, who imo is a better player, takes less and curry didn't take any less. Yes i know curry got paid less because of his injury on his last deal.

Curry just won a ship while being paid 2 Mil More than Meyers. The only reason why they were able to sign Durant to a Max deal is because he made so much less...

I realize that. And durant took less, so why not split it as much as you can? Durant, who imo is a better player, is taking less to keep this thing together. To me it's a dick move. We wouldnt be having this conversation if durant took all his money. But he didnt. So it makes curry look worse than i already thought of him.

So you approve of what Riley did to Wade? You think Wade should have taken less?

Its not a dick move. Curry built this powerhouse, Durant is merely the Cherry on Top Gravy Train riding Busta Brown and he got paid as his role and importance to the Warriors dictates. The Warriors did Durant a FAVOR by allowing him to win rings, they didn't need him. He needed them.

Being able to string words together is what separates us from other species.
That or prison...that would separate us from other large species but insects rule the world...you can't escape the mosquito no matter how hard you try

What I find funny is if any one of us go to the Denver nuggets forum and start talking like this Denver Nuggets fan has. We'd get ip-banned within an hour.
Yet because the mods on s2 aren't nazi's @Socnorb11 is allowed to keep posting here.
Did you just equate Nazis with being smart? Wtf?

Where will Hayward go?
According to all the damn media, he likes all three places. Utah for being familiar obviously and apparently he liked the Rubio signing. Then they say he liked the Heat presentation and the idea of being the number one option for scoring. Then Boston because obviously the Brad Stevens connection and the fact they could compete with Cleveland in the east. Who knows, I assume we will know tonight or by the morning, Jazz just ended their meeting with him. Last one

Gate receipts don't count their cable TV deal or merchandising (Golden State is tops in the league) and we don't know what their gate receipts will be once they move into their new stadium.
net income is the whole enchilada.

He should stay in Utah honestly.
He should go to Boston. I hope he does. Might make Crowder available for us and it weakens a team in the West and in our division.

It makes too much sense for Hayward to go East. Brad Stevens, title contention, all-star games...

All I know is that his wife reportedly likes Miami. During the season, Miami doesn't suck, and they have beautiful beaches. AND no state taxes

The Durant contract is commendable. Really.

Makes Curry look like kind of a douche tbh. As if I didn't already think he was one.

This is Curry's team, he can win a championship without Durant.
Durant is expandable, he joined them so he can have some of their glory. KD should definitely be the one getting less money.
