What? J-Cross is considered to be a good team\locker room guy as well as a source of inspiration for every second player in the league due to his elite ballhandling skills.

He's not a bad guy or a bad player Just because he didn't work out for Portland.
Good source says he was a snake in the grass, two faced man who says all the right things when he's speaking.

Meh, Crawford was collateral damage of the Fatty Felton mutiny. That was a veteran heavy (literally) team that should have had strong leadership, but instead turned on their coach. Yeah, Nate sucked, but it was guys like Felton that stunk it up on the court.

It didn't help that Nate tried to make Jamal Crawford into Brandon Roy. Once Roy announced his retirement, Nate was too set in his ways to adapt to his new roster. So, he just ran the same plays with Crawford cast in the Roy role. He had done the same thing with Bayless and even Andre Miller when Roy was out with injuries.

Yeah, it was past time for Nate to go, but that still doesn't excuse Felton's behavior. He came in extremely overweight after the lockout and stunk it up from Day 1. That team with veterans like Crawford, Camby, Gerald Wallace, etc. should have been a lot better than it was, but they quit on their coach and each other and Felton was their ring leader.

Still have my eye on Jeff Green, but with zbo getting 12/yr I doubt green can be had

In spite of missing the playoffs 11 straight years and having 9 top 8 picks in the last 9 years, SAC refuses to commit to rebuilding. They always add just enough veteran talent to keep them out of a top 3 pick, but not enough to win more than 33 games. A lot of posters here refer to a .500 record and an 8th seed as NBA purgatory. I'd rather have that that 11 straight years of ~ 28 wins and still no end in sight.

Well, the Blazers just moved up in the conference rankings for me.

What does Boston need now to compete with golden state? They certainly have the assets to trade for another star to add to hayward, horford and thomas.

Now Boston's offer of Crowder, Smart and several first-round draft picks should be back on the table for Paul George, since they got their free agent target!

Now all we have to do its trade for Crowder.

Boston needs a PF. Aminu and a 2018 1st. Get it done Neil!

I think they may wait to see how Tatum does against real NBA competition before they look to move Crowder. Maybe at the deadline.

Well, I still think they're short of competing with Cleveland just to reach the Finals. Had they gotten Butler or George, they'd be a match for Cleveland. I don't know who's available now that could bridge the gap.

That still gave Jaylen Brown as a backup SF. Smart as a backup PG/SG and Rozier as well.

To pick a better set of stars. I predict Hayward being fairly average as the 2nd/3rd option.
