Not for the first 68 years of the NBA.

They won championships in 1947, 1956 and 1975 (but we can count only the 1975 one if you want the Golden State part to be true) and the "we believe" Warriors were not unsettled either.

Thats what happens when you are missing 3 of your 5 starters thought right?

CJ got hot and the rest followed and they pulled it out. I don't know what to think about Dallas. Willie Green, though, is legit.

I mean if you're an almost billionaire, can't blame him for flying to a proper beach instead.
Oh absolutely! Which is why it's "kind of hard to believe". Still, it seems like he'd at least had made a day trip to the coast once. Maybe after a visit to his dealership or something. Isn't it in McMinnville?

Dallas has the offense, especially when Hardaway gets back. But their defense does not appear to be very good. I think that is one team picked ahead of us that we can pass.

Why would any team help the Lakers?

Taking away 2 more years of Lakers picks for role players might not "help" the Lakers. If this happens; perhaps we should thank the Jazz for further destroying the Lakers future!

Thats what you got from the pic?
The place opens up this weekend. I assume they are going to paint the shorts black when they finish.
I had to digest this a little before realizing something. Credit to you for knowing the process of painting a magnificent mural of Damian.

Looking at tonight's game against Miami, with the Heat favored by 2.5, am I correct in remembering that we've been the underdog in each of the first 4 games? I wonder what the record is for the most such consecutive games to open a season undefeated?

The Heat are favored? They are 1-3. WTF?! No respect.

Just as I post that...

https://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id...ll-trail-blazers-soar-latest-league-hierarchy

"The Jazz became the second team over the past three decades to start 3-0 despite being at least seven-point underdogs in each game"

So, at most one other team in the past ~30 years has done it over a 3-0 start, making the feat over a 4-0 start pretty unlikely.

(Edit: they did say at least seven-point underdogs, though, so that negates the direct comparison.)

See it’s people like you who probably didn’t watch the game, and have no clue what the situation was last night. They were missing 3 starters and my man had 14 pts and 11 assists against a tuff Dallas team and WON. And you think if you highlight a bad shooting night, that somehow proves something. He was a +10 and they ground that game the fuck out. This post proves you’ve never played the game. As you were…..

CJ hate lasting in here even when he is playing for the Pels.

kinda shocking how much trust philly has lost in Thybulle. tough blow for him given his upcoming RFA status. I think there is a spot for him in the NBA still and could be an interesting addition for us as another defensive wing to throw at all the superstars in the west. Ya he can't shoot but he supposedly spent all summer working on it (with Beckner/Dame/et al). Something to keep an eye on given our rumored interest in him earlier.

I don't see it. Same with Dort (who was 1-11 last night despite the huge win) We already have 2 great defenders who are poor shooters.

CJ sparked the comeback on both ends of the floor last nite. Yes not his finest shooting overall, but he made some crucial buckets.

He’s been perfect for that squad. Rough shooting night last night for sure. This clown looks at box scores and doesn’t watch the games.

I was listening to a podcast recently where they said the Kings should’ve beaten us because “they’re better on paper.” Why do people hate us!

His "dribble dribble dribble dribble shoooot" game is not missed one bit by 'your's truly' here. (I'm enjoying watching the ball move!)
I find him.......boring, and eventually, his stagnation will infect the Pels, much like it did here.
Oh, he'll get his 24-30 most nights, but at what cost?
