See it’s people like you who probably didn’t watch the game, and have no clue what the situation was last night. They were missing 3 starters and my man had 14 pts and 11 assists against a tuff Dallas team and WON. And you think if you highlight a bad shooting night, that somehow proves something. He was a +10 and they ground that game the fuck out. This post proves you’ve never played the game. As you were…..
They won despite CJ sucking, not because he played well. You would know this if you had ever played the game. I mean, they were playing a trash team.

He’s been perfect for that squad. Rough shooting night last night for sure. This clown looks at box scores and doesn’t watch the games.
They beat a trash team. Not impressed.

I was listening to a podcast recently where they said the Kings should’ve beaten us because “they’re better on paper.” Why do people hate us!
people really think deaaron fox is on dame's level. Fox has been admittedly excellent, but his stats aren't translating to wins and he's struggling in crunchtime with poor decision making.

Stop feeding the troll!!

maybe everyone hates us because he have loud, obnoxious, unrealistic fans?
Just a thought….

His "dribble dribble dribble dribble shoooot" game is not missed one bit by 'your's truly' here. (I'm enjoying watching the ball move!)
I find him.......boring, and eventually, his stagnation will infect the Pels, much like it did here.
Oh, he'll get his 24-30 most nights, but at what cost?
Fair enough but you got to admit 10+ assists and the team he is with might be a great fit for him.

I don't see it. Same with Dort (who was 1-11 last night despite the huge win) We already have 2 great defenders who are poor shooters.

I would pay attention if the Blazers have to move someone for another move. I would hate to lose either Hart or Winslow, but we all know the NBA is fluid and it might happen. If it does, there is a place for him, I really like him as a player. He is doing stuff that nobody really does on the defensive end.

talking about Matisse? If so, I agree. He's an all-nba caliber defender. Can never have too many of his kind, especially in the west where we have so many wings to guard. I also think he would be an absolute monster in our zone.

Yup. Not sure if there is enough minutes to play, say, Winslow and Matisse on the same team, but if you have to move Winslow or he gets hurt, Matisse is a great player to have. He just can't shoot (kind of like Winslow, although Winslow started shooting well in his 3rd and 4th years before the 2nd big injury he had).

Add Matisse, and the Blazers could have the most defensively dynamic 6'6" and under squad in league history. I honestly wonder how well a GP2/Hart/Thybulle/Nas/Winston lineup would be able to perform even against normal-sized lineups. I mean the perimeter shooting would be pretty terrible, but they'd be filthy on defense.

A couple of good performances by Aussies the other night.

Jock Landale with 17 pts @ 50%, 7 reb, 2 blk

Rookie Dyson Daniels with 11 pts @ 80%, 3 reb, 2 ast, 3 stl, 1 blk and good defence on Doncic

kinda shocking how much trust philly has lost in Thybulle. tough blow for him given his upcoming RFA status. I think there is a spot for him in the NBA still and could be an interesting addition for us as another defensive wing to throw at all the superstars in the west. Ya he can't shoot but he supposedly spent all summer working on it (with Beckner/Dame/et al). Something to keep an eye on given our rumored interest in him earlier.

He shot well from 3 at the Olympics 5/12 41.7%. Small sample size I know, but he had his coaches and teammates enthusiastic support, and really only shot from the corner; so it's possible he could improve.

Do you think he could’ve helped us this year? When we were tanking, you said a rookie wouldn’t help Dame.
Get your shit straight if you are going to CONTINUOUSLY come at me. I said the #7 pick wouldn’t make an immediate impact. Would the #1 pick, sure why wouldn’t he?

Do you still think Miami is trash and if so, what does that make the Blazers?

Haven't you been listening. Every team that's not the Blazers is trash. Get it.

For real though, Miami isn't trash, but they also aren't as good as they were made to look last night. They were desperate for a win. The Blazers had a bad night. It is what it is.

Why aren't they that good? They were a bucket away from reaching the finals. Their losses this season have been to the last three franchises besides themselves to make the finals in the East. They very well may be precisely as good as they looked last night.

So you're just looking at the win/loss record? What if they were 3-1 , they'd be good?
