Just saw a stat on schedules this year. Only three teams have more then 1 six game road trip and only 1 team has more then 2 six game road trips. So my question is why do the Blazers have the most extended road trips? Does the longer trips help build a strong bond within the team? Or does it hurt being away from the home arena for long stretches over and over? Just curious what others think?

. We’re the farthest from all the other teams. 3 big trips is better than “go to Philly, play a game there, come home play Sacramento and Houston, and then go play Boston in Boston etc etc etc.”. We’re actually playing NYK and BKN on the same road trip this year. That hasn’t always been the case.

If he's not on fire (which is admittedly pretty rare) he's a liability, because he's pudgy and slow.

The Mavs' record without him hasn't been that different from their record with him over the past few seasons, at least, that's how it's appeared to me. I don't think it's good for ANY player's usage rate to be as high as his. Certainly this year, when TEAM Teams seem to be overperforming and STAR teams seem to be underperforming.

And we’ve been both a STAR team AND a TEAM team which is why we’re awesome and best in West.

I too and pudgy and slow and one of the best at what I do. I can say for a fact that if I am ever on a broadcast that was shit, it SURELY wasn't because of me.

It's the beginning of the fucking season and no one is in a play or go home situation. You can't derive shit from the first seven games. You can be surprised or have your assumptions supported but it's not the fucking playoffs where everyone is playing for their lives after a season together.
