Memphis Win
PHX Loss
PHX Loss
Heat Win
Hornets Win
Pelicans Win
Mavs Loss
Spurs Win
Nets Win
Utah Win
Bucks Loss
Cavs Loss
Knicks Win
Nets Loss
Clippers Win
Lakers Win

Would be nice to be 15-7 after those games.
I'm not counting any chickens. I'd be thrilled to still be above .500. But based on the way those teams have played in the early going, we should at the very least be better than the Hornets, Mavs and Nets, and then finish the month on a 4-game winning streak.

who is Brett Usher?

Zach is posting some great numbers, and playing well, especially considering the circumstances. But posting a +/- mark from a single game as proof is not persuasive of anything except that the person posting that number is a knothead

I'll say again: +/- for a single game is the most useless stat in basketball

I have us at 12-10 or 13-9.

If that actually held to form (obviously it won't), OKC into the play-in over GSW would arguably be the biggest upset in NBA history.

Don't worry, they'll trade their play-in spot for draft picks.

been following the kyrie nonsense from afar, but it is shocking to me that he still is the VP of the players union.
The video he tweeted a link to opens with a batshit crazy, false quote from Adolf Hitler about black people being the real chosen people, not the jews. No joke.

Blazers are only 9th in Athletic power rankings. When will they learn? Last year is LAST YEAR. Warriors are trash now.

You think the Warriors ARENT trash? They just lost to Hornets and Pistons and have a worse record than OKC. I’ll give you this: they were good LAST year. But this is the 2022-23 season. Warriors are trash. The Draymond/Poole thing left a bigger mark than they’ll admit.

I do enjoy your eternal Blazer optimism, and I also somewhat enjoy your overreactions to small sample-sizes. But when you call virtually every team in the NBA 'trash', it eventually loses its meaning and humor.

There are a few teams in the NBA that I believe are 'trash'. Houston and Detroit being two. But just because a 'trash' team wins does not define the team they beat as also 'trash'.

I do believe 3 out of the top 4 Western Conference teams are going to have a hard time holding on to their spots come end of season. Will they overachieve this year? Probably so. I'd love to be wrong, and the Blazers finish with the number 1 seed, but I have a lot more basketball to watch before I can come to that conclusion.

I agree that Golden State is not the team they have been in the past few years. And I do really enjoy 4 out of the bottom 5 Western Conference teams are from California.

Don't ever lose that eternal optimism, Eric. There's a lot of ups and downs throughout the season. It's great having fans like you that are always seeing the Blazers in a positive light.

NBA taking away two picks from Philly as punishment for tampering during FA discussions with PJ Tucker and Danuel House.

How is this not punishing two potential draftees in addition to Philly?

Like the two picks missing from the 2022 draft.

Second-round picks being foregone doesn't hurt players--they're no better off than UDFA's; arguably even worse off since the UDFA's can choose any team with a roster spot.

It would only be foregone first-round picks that hurt a player, given the first-round-pick salary slotting.

i know. the players need to distance themselves from this nut or they're gonna get railroaded in CBA negotiations.

they still miss out on an experience of being called up on draft night. you think trendon would not have traded places with jabari on his night? to this day, wes matthews talks about how disappointed he was.
