Like he said, could they be much worse, really?

Well, they could have 7 wins like Sacramento or 8 wins like Washington and Cleveland.

The thing about this Wolves team is that they don't know how to finish games out. Like Greg Anthony always says on GameTime, they could be in the playoff race if they ended games after 3 quarters.

Not finishing out games is clearly a sign of a lack of depth and the youngest team in the league.

Tyrus Thomas isn't that bad, he just doesn't play enough minutes to merit more praise.

Like most young players he was held back by Larry Brown. Funny that Augustine and Thomas both have made great strides since Silas was hired.

I'd argue that it is a sign of not having a player who demands double-teams inside on offense. I also feel bad for Beasely, since he has to cover Love's assignment for much of the game. Love should have apologized for that when he played in Portland last month. Instead, he went on KGW and said he didn't have a "Kevin Love" game.

He needs to grow up and realize he is not a franchise player.

This was from last night but I just thought it was funny.

:biglaugh:

You're a piece of work.

As Marks secures a job for the rest of the year, other players were not so fortunate.

Of note: Brian Skinner, Steve Novak, Rodney Carney and Ime Udoka :( were waived.

Carney surprises me . . . I wish there was a big man "Rodney Carney" that was waived

Augustin, yes. Thomas put up that 21 PER under Brown. He's played what, three games under Silas. One good. One alright. One not so good. How is that great strides, exactly?

Hmmm that OKC vs Dallas game could be a good one. The other one, not so much.

Denver is on the second game of a back to back . . . and Carmello is losing interest fast. :D

And hopefully, so is the rest of the team. Unfortunately in the NBA though, often when one player leaves, another finds an opportunity.

Who's that player going to be for the Nuggets? JR Smith? Hah!

The Nuggets got blown out last night against the Clippers and they're getting beat good again against the lowly Kings.

I think we can catch them.

I wasn't aware of this, Jeff Pendergraph and Darren Collison were HS teammates:

Another good night in the Blazer playoff race:

Blazers win
SA wins
Utah loss
Houston loss
Memphis win
Phx losing
NO losing
LA winning

Blazers will be 1 game out of seventh/sixth and 2.5 games ahead of 9th place memphis.

Even my high school could beat Etiwanda, and we sucked. Fontana had a racetrack to race our cars and we listened to Fontella Bass singing Rescue Me.

D.J. Augustin looks awesome under coach Silas. He's starting to thrive in their uptempo system.

Nicolas Batum is at Tualatin High School right now watching rec basketball games. He saw me coach my 17 year old brother's team! :D

LOL this is Batum at Tualatin High last night. The kid he dunks on is on my team.

Denver getting blown out for the 3rd straight game. We will catch them in the standings in no time.
