Simmons is a loser.
That's safe, I guess but Simmons is already the better facilitator, has a better handle, is quite a bit bigger, is worlds ahead as an athlete and defender. So even though shooting is a big part of the game and we know Siakam is a pretty good shooter and Simmons has been horrible. I would take what Simmons is now over Siakam. When considering potential and coupling that with what I just said about how they compare now, I think it would be a really bad move to take Siakam if you had the choice between the two.I would rather have Siakam than Simmons.
The tactic is far too transparent and I hadn't really thought about the fact that they're setting up their fans for a huge let down.Sixers are intentionally asking for wayyyyy too much in an obvious negotiating tactic that is ridiculous and won’t come close to happening. The league knows it and thinks it’s ridiculous as well. Sixers fans will be disappointed.

Only Olshey would use "ideal vehicle" to describe draft night.
Maybe i'm reading too much into this.....
My biggest takeaway is that Simmons also wants out and the situation in Philly is untenable.
I'll believe it when I see it:
Yeah, I guess when you're saying "hope" you can't be proved wrong.Of course they hope to trade him tonight. They're asking for a king's ransom. If they move him tonight, that means they fleeced the recipient.
Most likely, he doesn't get moved tonight, and Morey has to actually take a reasonable deal. Of course, it only takes on idiot...
I just think this means what I've been saying. Morey has been seemingly pie in the sky about Simmons for a while and now the demand will come down until it reaches the most he can possibly get that helps the Sixers get better since they are already contenders and makes Morey feel like he didn't get completely fucked by what Doc and Embiid said after the playoff exit.Of course they hope to trade him tonight. Henry Abbot has zero influence on any of this. Morey and Neil don’t read tweets thank god to make decisions.Problem with getting Simmons right now is because Philly thinks they have a chance at Lillard in the deal. This is Henry Abbott’s fault.
For now, I still think that situation is untenable and he's just posturing. He's using a drastic and in my opinion stupid tactic to drive Simmons value up. In the end he'll take the offer that helps his team the most and adds the most value at the same time.Morey is asking Ferrari Prices , for a Corvette.
