Blazers @ Spurs GAMETHREAD!

Welcome to our community

Be a part of something great, join today!

The Blazers have got heart. We're immature and get down in holes we shouldn't, but we got lots of heart and guts. GO BLAZERS!!! I LOVE THIS TEAM SO MUCH!

I missed all but the last 30 seconds of the 1st half (why are they starting at 6 in Texas?) Steve Blake massively traveled on that last shot, but luckily the refs usually don't bother calling anything on last second hail marys.

I saw on Nba.com that we got off to our usual slow start. Have you ever seen a team get down by near 20 and come back so often?

They started at 6 because ESPN dropped the March game in Portland (against San Antonio) and changed it to today but they also have a second game in Dallas starting at 9:30 eastern. So they had to move the San Antonio game up. Usually they start with an game hosted by an EC team.

On the Blazers page it shows it's a 6pm game. I even email some people this morning that time and to not miss the game.

This team has scary talent. All that's missing is consistency. When they play with more consistent focus, they're going to be dominating the league, home or away.

So why couldn't the reflect that on the Blazers schedule page? I guess that would be to much work.

Oden: 8 points, 6 boards, 4-4 FG in just 13 mins. G.O. came to play

The Blazers website is pretty bad in terms of their graphic arts and keeping track of tiny little updates like that. This is a site that I'm pretty sure still has links to those Happy Birthday images with players from the 2003-2004 season.

It's great we've come back, but this should show why we should never get down in the first place. Let's see if we can put some serious doubt in their minds in the 2nd half.

They don't even have last season's stats last time I looked, just 2006/2007 and before.

Ya, it's not over yet. We have to continue the same play in the second half. Be great if we come out strong and put the Spurs in the hole.

anyone else surprised by the little resistancy SA gave us when we tried to go to the paint? Man, just attack, attack, attack

I knew it was starting at 4:00pm, that's just a time when most white people are at work.

Well, those lucky enough to have jobs anyway.

You have to go to Schedule & Stats, then click on the Statistics tab on the left side, then select Full Team Statistics. The last season it lists after you click on the Statistics tab is 2005-2006, but if you click Full Team Statistics it'll list the current season and then a selection of previous seasons at the top of current season.

Wow, our bench 25 to their bench 12.

Not at all.

We're better than them, and they're not a very good defensive team anymore.

Too bad Paul doesn't know any good computer people who could simplify it. :sigh:

I have to admit I haven't watched much matt bonner.... is he some kind of defensive dynamo?
