it seemed odd at the time, and even more so now

At this point I would. I've seen nothing from him in summer league, D League, OR regular season to say that he justifies a roster spot.

Maybe no one will sign Okafor or Dejuan Blair and we'll be able to get one of them for the minimum after cutting Crabbe, lol.
