That is the 3rd time he's used that word. I did a search for that word and came up with some interesting results. @yuyuza1 uses it a lot, but he doesn't seem like a burner account type. That nikoloukos (Sp?) guy used to use it too, did he get banned or just disappear? Where's @ripcityboy been? He's used it. @oldmangrouch used it a couple times. @Natebishop3 uses it occasionally. As do you mr @PtldPlatypus, lol, are you @Nurkalicious? I gave up going back any farther, ha ha.

And yes @PtldPlatypus uses it quite a bit

It is way way over used

Sorry, I'll stop before it becomes pedantic

Again, you're making assumptions that aren't really supportable. It's tough to have conversations with people who pass opinion off as fact. We have no way of knowing if CJ is coming back too early, or if his popliteus strain is sufficiently healed, so it's presumptuous to claim we're putting him at risk.

No, it’s presumptuous to do what you’re doing I e to assume we aren’t putting him at risk. We are of course putting him at some risk, the question is how much. The likely answer, given the history of our team, is we are putting him at significant risk for a first round playoff series. Do you really think he’d be playing right now if it were November? Please.

life coaching lesson...the free sampler....talk about the topic and not me.....the topic is CJ playing tonight...I read you don't like it...cliff note version...I do like it...no argument there eh
Life coaching lesson, no one can talk about the topic with you when you’re being pedantic and saying Roy didn’t have a career ending injury bc of a technicality.

All players are put at "some risk" when they play.

Nurkalicious, this is meant as an honest post as to why you're being treated the way you are so even though I know you aren't going to listen I'm going to say it anyway.

When you make a comment like this:

And then when people point out to you that there is a completely different medical staff in charge and you say this:

You keep making posts about Roy and the medical staff back then but there is literally no one still around from that time. The owner is dead. The CEO is different. The President of Basketball Operations and GM are different. The entire coaching staff is different. The entire medical staff is different. In fact they completely gutted anyone that had anything to do with the medical staff after the Roy years.

It doesn't sit well when you argue about something, can't acknowledge that you were incorrect, and then continue arguing like you're still right. Just my two cents, but if you just had a little bit of give and take instead of always complaining about others while not recognizing your part then maybe this would be a little more cordial. Or is it that this is what you want and you don't want a respectful conversation?

It’s that this is a side point and doesn’t really have a big consequence as to what I was saying.

I made one sarcastic argument about the medical staff, to poke fun at the idea that medical staffs can always be trusted. My argument didn’t rest on whether or not any of them are still around - the point is having blind trust in any medical staff given the incentives to rush players back is dumb. Ask Leonard.

Obviously “some risk” here means “some risk” in the context of a player that is already injured and in danger of another injury - not that I’m risking stubbing my toe by walking outside.

this post needs to move to the "oxymoron" thread...you can talk whether I'm the grand wazoo or not....you are saying I don't allow anyone to talk about the topic so you then talk about the topic ….ok duderonious..hope it gives you great joy....

“He missed the last 9 games”

“He didn’t have a serious injury”

Uh...

Stotts is known for rushing players back. He said he wanted to get CJ reps before the playoffs - CJ said he didn’t need them. You can basically infer that Stotts is making CJ play, which I think is dumb
It’s not up to coach Stotts on when players return if I’m not mistaken. I don’t hinknhe has ever rushed anybody back. That is left up to the players and the training staff.

Ah yes the trustworthy blazers medical staff. When have they ever gotten anything wrong! Brandon Roy totally didn’t end his career by rushing back to the playoffs amirite

There’s plenty of argument to be had about it, just not with sub-human rookie scum like Nurkalicous!
The BRoy and Greg situations were under a different training staff, but those injuries shouldn’t be blamed on them.

Any player is at risk for injury, and CJ's risk for reinjury is isnt greater. They wouldn't put him or the odd he was.

Roy came back because the wasnt really any meniscus to repair. Also, different staff. You have no basis for your claims.

Yes, he'd be playing if it was November. Players have to return at some point, and it doesnt take months to repair a sprained muscle. Any time a player returns, you can make this BS argument.
