Everyone knows that CJ put on Biofreeze on his injury so he could recover faster.
Now that must be it! BIO-FREEZE!

I got a free sample. It works pretty good for a little while. Does loosen up the area you put it on.

I'm just having fun with it. Don't let it get to you. He is actually going after mods so that is the way he wants it.

I check before work and I see MORE drama.
Just wow.

Just so I have this correct, you think Brandon Roys career was ruined because the Blazers rushed him back? Had nothing to do with his knees not having cartilage left? Or was that the Blazers fault as well?

I’m sure rushing back from an injury helped a lot!

Roy ruined his own damned career...he did kick fighting Tae Kwon Do longer than he played basketball...he said he was good to go and two days later said he had to retire for medical reasons so he could play with his kids...then he's suited up for the Wolves the following year...BRoy did what he wanted to and got paid really well to milk it for the Wolves...now he coaches HS hoops in his hometown...if that medical staff fucked up it was with Greg Oden if anyone in my view. BRoys knees were on thin ice when he entered the league. Gambled and lost but at least BRoy brought fans back from the Jailblazers era

“He said he was good to go”

You realize that when your medical staff isn’t a clown show, they won’t allow you to return early from a potential-career-ending injury to win a First round playoff series?

All players are going to want to play. You’re supposed to have people in your medical staff that know better than hard-headed ultra-competitive 20-something-year-olds...

duh...except for that cardinal rule..."shit happens"

K. Go ahead and rewrite history and don’t acknowledge what everyone outside of this sub knows: that Brandon Roy rushed back from an injury.
I don't write history....welcome to 2019! I'm in the moment...pushing that ball forward...predicting the future..the past is such a beaten dead horse and honestly...I don't dwell on old Blazer tragedies much anymore...call it old age..there's a game on tomorrow and CJ and Seth are BACK!!!

There are two assumptions you're making here.
  1. Brandon Roy rushed back from injury before he was physically ready to do so
  2. Roy rushing back from that injury hastened the end of his career.
It's generally understood that #1 is true, but that #2 is false because (as has been mentioned) the permanent damage to his knees had already been done by that point.

You willfully forget history and fail to learn from history. Hence, we’re putting CJ at risk, just like we did to Roy, to try to win a first round playoff series.

You don’t have to dwell on injuries to grasp that blazers fans/coaches/staff put way too much pressure on players to return early for playoff games that probably won’t matter much in the long term.

Are you sure you’re not the one making assumptions? You sure rushing back to a playoff game before you’re healed has nothing to do with aggravating his injury? That makes no sense.

There was permanent damage and he made it worse.
