Yes that was pointed out. But it didn't seem to make much difference. This is a different medical staff then when Roy play.
mags?Right, you just called me a bitch.
Wait no, you passive-aggressively called me a “bitch” by saying I was “bitching.”
My mistake! The latter is so civil!
I'm just having fun with it. Don't let it get to you. He is actually going after mods so that is the way he wants it.Holy shit. It never ends does it.

Now that must be it! BIO-FREEZE!Everyone knows that CJ put on Biofreeze on his injury so he could recover faster.

mags?
That picture fits perfectly.I check before work and I see MORE drama.
Just wow.
That's exactly why I thought it was mags...it could be Denny thoughMags never took himself seriously
Just so I have this correct, you think Brandon Roys career was ruined because the Blazers rushed him back? Had nothing to do with his knees not having cartilage left? Or was that the Blazers fault as well?
Want the receipt?Csb.
I knew you'd finally come around...I’m sure rushing back from an injury helped a lot!
Want the receipt?
Roy ruined his own damned career...he did kick fighting Tae Kwon Do longer than he played basketball...he said he was good to go and two days later said he had to retire for medical reasons so he could play with his kids...then he's suited up for the Wolves the following year...BRoy did what he wanted to and got paid really well to milk it for the Wolves...now he coaches HS hoops in his hometown...if that medical staff fucked up it was with Greg Oden if anyone in my view. BRoys knees were on thin ice when he entered the league. Gambled and lost but at least BRoy brought fans back from the Jailblazers era
I’m sure rushing back from an injury helped a lot!
As Yoda would say, "mmmm, story was cool, young Skywalker"
duh...except for that cardinal rule..."shit happens"You realize that when your medical staff isn’t a clown show, they won’t allow you to return early from a potential-career-ending injury to win a First round playoff series?
Which injury are you referencing, sorry there were a few!
duh...except for that cardinal rule..."shit happens"
I don't write history....welcome to 2019! I'm in the moment...pushing that ball forward...predicting the future..the past is such a beaten dead horse and honestly...I don't dwell on old Blazer tragedies much anymore...call it old age..there's a game on tomorrow and CJ and Seth are BACK!!!K. Go ahead and rewrite history and don’t acknowledge what everyone outside of this sub knows: that Brandon Roy rushed back from an injury.
The only one that ended his career.
There are two assumptions you're making here.K. Go ahead and rewrite history and don’t acknowledge what everyone outside of this sub knows: that Brandon Roy rushed back from an injury.
He ended his career a TWolf….The only one that ended his career.

You’re being pedantic.He ended his career a TWolf….
It's exhausting….believe me...I did give it a try to lighten up the discussion but hey....not everyone is enlightened like me...and that's okYou’re being pedantic.
If anyone thought perhaps Nurkalicious was HCP, here's proof positive that he's not. No chance HCP knows how to spell "pedantic", let alone use it in a sentence. You’re being pedantic.
There are two assumptions you're making here.
It's generally understood that #1 is true, but that #2 is false because (as has been mentioned) the permanent damage to his knees had already been done by that point.
- Brandon Roy rushed back from injury before he was physically ready to do so
- Roy rushing back from that injury hastened the end of his career.
