Are these going to be used only for selected games or are these the uniforms that will be worn splittingly for 82 games?

I actually don't mind that they say rip city on them, I just wish they woul dhave made those more old school like the Warriors did with their "The City" uniforms.
I like both uni's!
My guess is that these will be used for only a couple of games.
I like the Rip City ones. Nobody else has done it, and I think it's cooler than El Heat.

I hope you are right.Agreed, it's not the "rip city" part that bothers me as much as how fucking busy they are. They're all over the place.
The only place "Rip City" should be written is on the back of the shorts, one word on each cheek... (Would add some nice double meaning, too.) Increase the female viewership!
The red ones look good, but the regular stripes down the side would be an improvement over the b&w, IMO.
They are only going to be used sparingly via twitter

Hideous.
Geez guys, I haven't read anything anywhere that says these will be used for regular season games.
yes, both jerseys are approved and will be worn in select games throughout the season.
It does get points for creativity and originality with the vertical script down the chest, which is unheard of for uniforms. Also, bonus points for the upright pinwheel logo on the shorts. The only flaw I can dock them for are the hideous white and black strips down the side of the top and shorts. Overall Grade: 8.5/10.
TrailBlazers Unveil Alternate UnisFirst, there shouldn't be that much silver involved, if any. Rip City was a saying by the Schonz long before any thought of silver being an accent color on the color scheme for the Blazers, especially when Rip City is written in the original font the team adopted back in 1970. I love that Rip City is in orginal font, but then make the pinwheel upright to match the era. The side paneling is very plain as well, not bad for NBA standards, but when the Blazers have the best jerseys in the NBA, my expectations for new alternates are high. Overall Grade. 6/10.
the wide shoulders are only for the replicas..all replicas for some reason have the wide shoulder
My take on 1974's

Busy? White with 7 letters on the front and a number and the back has a name with number, yeah there are stripes on the side but busy is the last thing the are! I'm with you Pop, they kick ass!
yeah for a fan maybe but were gonna put our players out there on the court with a slogan on there jerseys?
