Yeah, we'll never know what "rules" were broken. It's rather a rather arbitrary/selective/secretive process. But, whatever, it is what it is.

I know why Bodyman was banned. I should say, I think I know because I'm not sure he was even banned and I hope not. Bodyman responded to a flurry of posts I addressed to him that I truly regret. I blame myself for a couple low blows that led him to explode. My bad.
I think Marzy may be a little racist which is really tragic because otherwise he's a great guy. I'd trust Marzy to return my wallet if I accidentally lost it at his house and he were to find it. He's extremely honest and good natured so he's not all bad.

We all say stupid shit. We have all used words that we should not have used. What happened to forgiveness? Why is everyone's skin so damn thin these days? Why are someone's hurt feelings more important than just about anything else now?

For the record, I am not talking about sexual harassment. I'm talking about people like Chris Harrison (The Bachelor) or Kathy Griffin. Or Myers. He said something stupid. OK, so what? I never need to hear from him ever again? The punishment so does not fit the crime.

I don't get cancelling people people they were dumb, or boorish, or rude, or insensitive.

We can think they are an idiot, fine. Or not buy whatever it is they sell. But to just write them off completely is just wrong imo.

Apparently, my little stab at sarcasm was lost on you. Meaning, if I had a dime for every time I was insulted in this place I'd be long retired by now. It used to bug me. Now, I pretty much ignore them or exchange insults with some form of sarcasm and/or flippancy. Oh, and now that we've pretty much moved on from Trump, the regularity of said insults has decreased commensurately.

I'm now the Mr. Rogers of the neighborhood. Heh.

Good to hear but with Trump supporters numbering 53% of Republicans, I don't think it's yet time to move on.

I've said in here before, at this point, I'd be more inclined to vote for DeSantis, but we'll have to see.

Timothy Leary and George Carlin were considered "counterculture" long before Boy George. I'm pretty sure the term began in the 1960s (though the concept can be applied pretty much throughout human history).
 
I tend to ignore the “celebrity” opinions I disagree with yet still can enjoy their entertaining me. I don’t watch The News so I’m not sure what this about.

Gone are the days when statues represented the past, children's' books were published with free expression and people voted for the best candidate with research in their decision agenda.. I learned one thing for sure. The National Anthem lost it's relevance with what happened in the White House from 2016-2020, January 6th 2021..

What I find funny is Trumps base is the big ones who are pushing this cancel culture as a way to try and talk down on liberals, when in Fact it was his base who is caught up in the cancel culture. I can't think of how many of my family and friends who are trump supports who refuse to watch the NFL because of Kapernick, The US Women's soccer team, won't shop at Dicks or Bi Mart because Dick's did away with guns and Bi Mart won't sell ammo to anyone under 21. They are so involved in the cancel culture but can't understand that while they try to blame the evil liberals for destroying this country because of it, when in fact they are the face of it.
