On the other hand, if you make them go into the men's room, they could get harrassed, and punched in the face if they make a wrong move. I haven't found any articles about trans gender women assaulting regular women, but I have read a few about regular dude killing trans gender women... so there's that.

They should probably have a separate restroom then. one for whoever.

As a straight man, I found that both funny and sad.

I'm a cynic and guessing Chuck knows someone close to him that's gay.
Everyone does. That is why coming out matters. If all gays come out in every field, everyone will have an attachment to someone who is gay and will think of gay rights in a more positive way.

Should a transgender genetic male with a penis have a right to use a female restroom? Should a genetic female have the right to use a restroom free of any male genitalia? You can't have both. Sometimes rights come into conflict (as in my example). In those cases, corporations and leagues should stay out of the politics.

Should gay people be allowed to form a union like a marriage? IMHO, sure. (this is much closer to your Red example) But, there are many places they can get married. My problem is with corporations or people with a bully pulpit trying force a state to impose fines upon churches or the like to conform to the corporation's opinion of what is right.

With racism, there is no countervailing constitutional right that should allow it. Racism is wrong--going any direction.

Religious freedom and the GLBT[keep adding letters] movement have countervailing beliefs. Religious freedom is guaranteed expressly in the Constitution. It gets more complicated here, which is why states should be free to address it how they wish within the bounds of the Constitution--and without interference from Elitist leagues or "thinkers". As in my bathroom example we have here conflicting rights.

In the US of A, everyone is free to go to any church they want, believe whatever they want, and speak about whatever religion they want. They are NOT free to take away someone else's rights.

Chuck's always been pretty liberal anyway; he might be doing this regardless.
Actually, he's well known to be a conservative. There was talk he might run for public office in Arizona.

Explains why he's wrong about everything all the time. :ghoti:

I guess he's rich enough that he doesn't have to worry about the Republican Party wanting people of his color dead, so can be conservative. I just remembered him being super pissed that MLK day wasn't observed in AZ in the 90's.

Time Warner Cable Arena is an anti-Second Amendment venue, completely prohibiting patrons from carrying.

So, even though Chuck failed to mention that little bit of discrimination, the NBA should boycott the venue. But the NBA is also rabidly anti-Second Amendment too, so they should just shut the league down and divvy up the $, and call it all good.

You do understand the difference between a private company being able to prohibit something, and the US government prohibiting, and what role the 2nd amendment plays here, right?

XX chromosomes = female
XY chromosomes = male

Science can't be denied, right?

How is it a right to determine if you are male or female?

Absolutely. It does not apply, just as it does not apply in a private company refusing to bake cakes for gays, or a private company refusing to rent rooms to asians, or a private company barring a blind person from bringing along a seeing-eye dog.

It is the result of the Supreme Court not hearing any case addressing the full meaning of The Second Amendment anytime in my considerable lifetime so far. They have always managed to duck the issue, but it's pretty obvious in a venue that fully depends on serving the public at large no such right to discriminate is defensible.

I'm not sure the conservative pants shitters thought this out though... Now this dude, who was born a woman...

has to, by law, shit in the women's restroom.

So it's okay to bang a chick in the men's room at the bar just as long as you don't let them pee there. Because that will make people uncomfortable.

This is private enterprise doing as private enterprise chooses. Free markets, bro.

There are also xxy and xyy naturally occurring.

Hermaphrodites are what then? There are three kinds born.

Oh sure, point out the fringe when you know im referring to the majority. If someone's a herm, then obviously the situation is different and I'm sensitive to that. Did you think you had a point?

Some people are born as men but with female equipment. Obviously this didn't happen to you or someone you love so you can't understand.
"Obviously blah blah blah............................."
Because generalizing me is the easiest thing to do on your part. Just like eastoff, you're talking about fringe issues and not the norm.

BTW, it didn't happen to you so how come you can understand and I can't?

You said people are born the sex that their body dictates. You are wrong. And it's less fringe than you think. And actually, I take my original post back because you probably do know people who are transgender. But I take offense to you discrediting transgendered people because "there aren't a lot of them." That's horrible.
