Cho says no!

What does it ALL mean????????? I.... DONT.... KNOW!!! (pee wee herman)

Anyway im assuming it means marks or we are close to a trade?

p.s. slow news day.

I disagree with that. Johnson played well in the short times he was on the floor.

First a Beavis reference in the OT area, and now Pee-Wee? Could this day get any better?

I disagree with that. Johnson played well in the short times he was on the floor.

His first stint was pretty good, but his second stint was pretty invisible. He got torn through by Nene like he was a roll of Charmin tissue paper. His ironically awesome PER dropped from 31.9 to 6.5 after those 12 minutes (which is worse than Marks, btw). He might get called up to our SL team later this year if he bulks up, but he really ended up being a bit spazzy out there overall.

I hope something a little more substantial in the roster movement category comes along though.

heres really sobering news....

chris johnson logged more meaningful minutes then luke babbit

what do you disagree with chris? slow news day or cho saying no?

Not really; he only logged 2 meaningful minutes against SA, and 2 garbage minutes (up 15 with 2 minutes to go). He logged 6 meaningful minutes against Denver, and 6 garbage minutes. I know Luke's been in a meaningful game longer than 8 minutes. Luke might get a few more before the weekend is out, too.

It can only mean one thing: DEAL COMING SOON!! :ohno:

Where did you get that we did not sign CJ to a second stint? I know this is fact, but anywhere I can find a mention of CJ not getting a 2nd stint says why he did not(Camby's return and current NBA rules). Not sure why you are reading more into this then there is, oh wait.........

double rainbow?

whats the deal with babbit? i thought he was supposed ti be good...

And in time he very well might be. He came from a crummy league and the move up to the NBA was bigger than expected. Like going from juco to the NBA and bypassing the NCAA. Who knows, he might become a decent shooter off the bench eventually. That said, I was surprised he wasn't sent to the D-League unless it's because we haven't enough practice players.

Portland's crack medical team is almost always correct about player timelines.

Err, wait. They are typically completely wrong and error on the side of fucking stupid.

Camby is not going to be back from knee surgery in two weeks.
Cho is blowing smoke up everyones asses.

Besides which, a 10 day contract would still allow the kid to be let go before Camby returns.

Oh well, get ready to see some more Skid Marks on the court.

Unless there is something right around the corner, this makes no sense. The kid played well enough to earn a second 10 day contract. Hell, he played just as well as Joel did, and a lot better than Marks has.

He received accolades for the 3 seconds in which he skillfully attempted to block a shot, and later in the game he spent 7 seconds pursuing a Spur and distracting him from making his shot. There were 2 stellar seconds in which he leapt higher than anyone within 4 feet 6 inches of him. However, the bad balanced the good. He bobbled the ball for 1 second while generally looking out of sorts for 16 interminable seconds which resulted in a basket for the opponent.

I have now re-examined the footage with a microscope and have salvaged an additional 3 sparkling seconds in which he absolutely looks like an all-star. I believe these 3 seconds should be digitized and submitted to the League for consideration in case an all-star is injured and needs replacement.
