I wonder how you will feel after the fourth booster, and the fifth booster?

Probably fine within a day

The vaccine just makes you feel sick. You are not actually sick. It just tricks your body to react a certain way so that if you do get covid it is not a stranger to your immune system.

I have had no problem with feeling sick for a half a day or a day, knowing that I am better protected against Covid.

The American Heart Association has announced that the mRNA shots, any of them, will increase your chances of getting heart disease by 11% - 25%.

Fact Check-Research abstract is not reliable evidence of a link between mRNA vaccines and heart disease

A research abstract cited by commentators as proof that COVID-19 vaccines increase a person’s risk of heart disease has raised multiple concerns from experts.

The 319-word abstract, published in the American Heart Association journal Circulation, claims its research has found mRNA vaccines “dramatically increase” inflammation in endothelium cells and T cell infiltration in the heart.

This inflammation, it says, “may account for the observations of increased thrombosis, cardiomyopathy, and other vascular events following vaccination” (here).

Commentators on British television and social media have since cited the research as the “death bell” for mRNA vaccines (see here), or as reliable proof to back up anonymous sources and alleged anecdotal evidence of vaccine-related heart disease (see here).

However, multiple experts have raised criticisms of the abstract, which does not detail a full study and has not been peer-reviewed.

The American Heart Association published an “expression of concern” in its journal on Nov. 24 to warn that the passage may not be reliable and that a “suitable correction” was needed (here).

It added: “Specifically, there are several typographical errors, there is no data in the abstract regarding myocardial T-cell infiltration, there are no statistical analyses for significance provided, and the author is not clear that only anecdotal data was used.”

Multiple other experts have expressed similar sentiments online (here , here and here), including one who shared parts of a presentation about the abstract and said it lacked data and any references, and was only written by one person (here).

Reuters has reached out to the abstract author, Dr Steven Gundry, who is a former cardiothoracic surgeon and now promotes nutritious ways to avoid surgery, as well as running a private restorative medicine practice. He was not immediately available for comment.

Reuters has previously addressed claims about COVID-19 vaccines and heart issues here and here.

VERDICT
Missing context. The research abstract does not provide reliable evidence that mRNA vaccines increase risk of heart disease.

My heart improved after my first vaccination......I have heart disease and my heart doctors are all vaccinated as well....you may get heart disease by drinking alcohol, smoking, or more likely....stress. the fact is the American diet is leaning towards heart disease....as someone who's recovered from heart disease long before the pandemic....I'm not worried at all. Nor are the heart care professionals who saved my life. According to anti vaxxers I should be dead already with a bum ticker , late 60s and being vaccinated....sorry ...that's not reality although that fear propoganda has been floating around for a couple years

You shouldn't be worried. But a 25% increase for a healthy young person is significant.

My 20 year old granddaughter got covid early and now she's going to have asthmatic conditions for maybe life....choices...I'm glad she's alive though...her sister got it too without the long term lung problems but there are a lot of things that can increase young people's risk of heart issues and I guarantee most of them are going to partake of things that contribute to those issues...I have many young relatives and friends and not one case of inflamed heart tissue has been detected...you may compound your risk with a poor diet, no excercise and a stressful lifestyle with booze and tobacco in the mix...also those studies are from the same folks who said smoking was ok for decades and sugar is healthy....I'll trust my doctors on this issue.....my son and his wife have not had any issues and they just turned 30....I trust the vaccines. Modern medicine has saved my life 3 times....I don't argue with it

lol. Poor Maris, it's like shooting fish in a barrel.

There are currently over 30,000 American deaths caused directly by the mRNA shots, according to the CDC. This is nearly double the total of ALL deaths caused by ALL vaccines ever used anywhere throughout the history of the world combined. In less than a year.

Wake up.

Fact Check-VAERS data does not prove thousands died from receiving COVID-19 vaccines

Updated to correct repeated clause and quotation in paragraph 12.

Viewed more than 21,000 times on Facebook, a video showing data collected by the U.S. Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS) claims that thousands of people died from receiving COVID-19 vaccines. The video, which fails to mention that anyone can report events to VAERS and that the database contains unverified information, describes reported deaths of individuals who died after receiving the vaccine as deaths caused by the vaccine, when the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has so far found no evidence that vaccinations led to patient deaths.

Available fb.watch/4s9aQGkDhN/ , the video in question, shared over 1,700 times at the time of this publication and titled “COVID19 VACCINES DEATH TOLL CLIMBING!!!”, shows a person scrolling through a VAERS dataset of death reports and saying, “This is the list of all the people who have died from vaccines.” The narrator clicks on random entries, including a 38-year-old in New Mexico and a 65-year-old in Ohio who were both given the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine, before saying that “the vaccine itself will kill you.”

The video’s caption links to the VAERS online database (wonder.cdc.gov/vaers.html), which is run by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). The general public may report events to VAERS, and a disclaimer on the CDC website says: “The reports may contain information that is incomplete, inaccurate, coincidental, or unverifiable” (here).

When downloading the data, users are presented with a further disclaimer that the data does not include information from investigations into reported cases. The disclaimer also says “the inclusion of events in VAERS data does not imply causality” (here).

According to the latest data (here), 1,985 U.S. deaths of individuals who died after receiving at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccines have been reported to VAERS. Of these, 1,016 are listed as receiving doses from Moderna, 946 as Pfizer-BioNTech, 16 as Janssen, and seven as “unknown manufacturer.” In total, 1,579, or nearly early 80%, of these individuals were over the age of 65.

As stated here by the CDC, “Reports of death to VAERS following vaccination do not necessarily mean the vaccine caused the death.”

Of the 145 million COVID-19 vaccine doses administered in the United States from Dec. 14, 2020 through March 29, 2021, “VAERS received 2,509 reports of death (0.0017%) among people who received a COVID-19 vaccine.” Having reviewed “available clinical information including death certificates, autopsy, and medical records,” the CDC found “no evidence that vaccination contributed to patient deaths” (here).

Dr. Dana Mazo, an assistant professor of medicine who specializes in infectious diseases at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York, stressed to Reuters via phone the importance of distinguishing between association and causation when looking at post-vaccine death records.

“The idea is that we are vaccinating millions of people,” Mazo said, “and, unfortunately, when you look at 96 million people, some of them might die, and they would have died if they hadn’t been vaccinated.”

The fact that medically vulnerable individuals have had the earliest access to COVID-19 vaccines in the United States has also impacted the rate of post-vaccine deaths, Mazo said.

As reported here by Reuters in January, healthcare workers and people in nursing homes have been at the front of the line, followed by older members of the general population and people with pre-existing conditions ( here , here ).

In a WebMD interview here , Dr. Joël Belmin, head of geriatrics and vaccination coordinator at l’hôpital Charles-Foix in Paris, said, “In older people, due to their great frailty, a significant amount of spontaneous mortality is expected. In a retirement home, one in five people die each year. It’s therefore difficult to directly attribute these deaths to the fact that these people were vaccinated.”

The CDC estimates that about 1.3 million COVID-19 vaccine doses were administered to residents in long-term care facilities as of Jan. 18, 2021 (here). By comparison, VAERS had received 129 reports of deaths following COVID-19 vaccination in long-term care facility residents as of January 18, 2021.

Reuters Fact Check has previously debunked false social media claims misinterpreting VAERS data here , here and here .

VERDICT
Misleading. This video takes VAERS death reports out of context to falsely claim that thousands of U.S. vaccine recipients who died after getting the vaccine died as a result of getting the vaccine.

The chairman and former Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Reuters news agency – James C. Smith – is a top investor and board member for pharmaceuticals giant Pfizer. He was elected to the board in 2014, as well as joining Pfizer’s Corporate Governance and Science and Technology Committees. The news raises serious conflict of interest concerns as corporate media outlets such as Reuters continue to promote Pfizer products, defend pharmaceuticals companies from criticism, and move to silence skeptics.

Smith is currently the Chairman of the Thomson Reuters Foundation, the London-based charity known for providing news and information to billions of readers. He was also the President, Chief Executive Officer, and on the Board of Director of Reuters from 2012 until his retirement in 2020.

He has worked with the organization since 1987, when they were known as the Thomson Newspaper group. He has also served as the CEO of the professional division, overseeing legal, tax and accounting, and intellectual property and science businesses. Later, he went on to lead the North America operations for the news organization.

In an official statement at the time, Ian Read, Pfizer’s chairman and CEO said: “We are pleased to have Jim Smith join Pfizer’s Board of Directors. He brings leadership and operational and international business experience to Pfizer’s Board, and will be an excellent asset to the company."

No doubt people died after receiving vaccine. Not the same as dying from vaccine.
First people getting vaccine were old and/ or had health problems. Not surprising some would due after vaccine. Not from vaccine. From being old and sick.
Had a drunk driver ploughed into my car on my way home from getting vaccine, I would have died after being vaccinated but not from being vaccinated.
