He thinks Brooklyn would only be a third team. Not a primary team.

im not worried about trader joe, the fact that he hasnt traded dame yet, tells me he isnt gonna take miami trash offer

perhaps we still wont get satisfying offer from miami or someone else, but if that happens, it wont be cause trader joe is incapable, but cause no-one simply wanted to offer more

sorry...does not 'imply' he "demanded" Miami. I'm sure he made it clear he preferred Miami...that it was his first choice. Keep in mind, it' was one fucking tweet from Amick saying Dame told Cronin he'd only play for Miami, and apparently Amick has not repeated it in writing articles about the situation. Nate said what Amick wrote for the Athletic was that Miami was Dame or bust; not that Dame was Miami of bust
 
You know, it's interesting. Miami got Butler for basically nothing and they will get Dame for nothing and a half.

The Blazers had some pretty good assets to get 1(!) Star next to Dame, but they never had a chance.

WTF is this league.

We need to do what the Nets did and hold on to Dame until a better deal is available. That's what contracts are for.

Earlier on I came across a comment on IG that was like, "If the Blazers do Dame dirty, alot of fans will forever hate the team."

So I tell him that as a Blazers fan, I want us to get the best possible combination of young players and draft picks. If that's the Heat, awesome. If it's not, tough luck for him. He responds with "damn no love for the man who made your franchise relevant?"

You can't argue with some folks LMAOOO.

I have very low confidence in Cronin. Wish we had someone like Deryl or Ainge at the helm right now.

Remember when Deryl stored Simmons in the freezer for months and actually ended up getting James Harden for him?

Said it elsewhere, Scottie Barnes is the guy you want from TOR. Dick, sure. Precious would be fine too. But it wouldn't make sense for TOR to trade Dame's buddy, and it wouldn't make sense for us to not take their younger, cheaper wing...

They won't get Dame for nothing.
If Dame is not demanding Miami, they probably won't get Dame at all.

Orlando did well when they traded Valenciunas.
They got a young center (Wendell Carter Jr.) and two good draft picks because Chicago missed the playoffs those years.

If relevant means a 21-36 Playoff record. That is an average of 1.9 Playoff wins per year. Relevancy doesn't sound so great.

Not gonna lie, I was having nightmares last night about a way-too-soon dame deal. Then I woke up and realized I'm in my mom's basement and now I'm doubly depressed.

Harden can only play in one of Philly or LAC, so i don't know how he rules both out for Lillard.....

He said Philly won't trade Maxey in his opinion.

And the clippers only have like one pick and salaries, not really young talented assets to move.
