A friend (I know, but it’s true) and I are thinking about starting a podcast. The ones we’ve mocked up so far have completely gone off the rails. Turns out he and I have no filter
Would totally listen to you. You need to have me on as a guest….. RATINGS BOOST

It has nothing to do with basketball.

This is how it usually goes

He is from Scotland, mind you
Funny to us

Not funny to anyone else

It gets real dark, real fast

Like I said, work in progress. We laugh like school kids, but everyone else that’s listened is totally offended

Well I don’t think he could have participated in SL if he wasn’t signed.
I think he 'could have' - but he rightly doesn't want to take the risk.

If youre a first round pick with guaranteed money sitting there, why would you take a risk in playing summer league & get injured?

Yeah apparently Jabari played without a contract for half of the SL last year.

moratorium ends on thursday. wondering if we get some clarity then.

Aldridge, Fentress, and the rest of the so called media are so stuck on what Dame wants. Don't hurt the feelings of the multimillionaire star player. Send him to Miami and take a nothing deal back so we can both give away our star and be laughed at for it. No thanks.

Lots of respect for Dame and what he has done for us, but the FO has to do what is best for the team. We have to get the best deal. We cannot get fleeced on this. He has 4 years left on his contract. He isn't an expiring or free agent. We dictate where he goes, when, and for what.
This. This. This. The same casual fans who say we'd do Dame dirty if we didn't trade him to the Heat for pennies on the dollar are the same casuals who would clown us (and rightfully so) for getting fleeced by the Heat after receiving such a pathetically inadequate draft package in return.

The Spurs sent Kawhi to Toronto, the Pacers sent Paul George to Oklahoma City. Damian needs to realize that he's not a free agent who can go wherever he wants.

We're trying to accomodate his desire to leave, and can even restrict the pool to playoff teams since he wants "a shot". But the idea that the Blazers are obligated to send him only to Miami is horse shit.

We traded Joel Pryzbilla, Dante Cunningham, and two 1sts round picks, which turned into Tobias Harris and Shabazz Napier, for Gerald Wallace. We traded Gerald Wallace for the #6 pick in the 2012 draft, which we used on Lillard.

So whomever we acquire with the Damian Lillard trade, will really be for Joel Pryzbilla and Dante.

Clowney and Jovic perhaps.

First time I've ever posted anything I've seen on Reddit. Maybe I'm getting young but more likely Reddit is getting old. The headline is horrible it says:
"Heat fan cope"

White....I already have 2.5 gallons. Paint ain't cheap

I hate painting...rather chew on tin foil
If you haven’t already, a power paint sprayer is well worth the investment. Then again it’s not the painting I hate it’s the prep

I just watched this video and these guys seem to think that us taking our time will create a sense of urgency for Riley and they spend a couple of minutes talking about how the Knicks lost out on Donovan Mitchell... then they talk about Brooklyn but we have already heard Brooklyn and when the Cavs swooped in on Mitchell they weren't a team anyone was hearing about until the deal was done.

Maybe we will get a huge haul for Dame. I still think we'll be at least a little underwhelmed when comparing what we get to the two deals the Jazz got and what Brooklyn got for KD but I guess we'll wait and see.

Cleaning out the airless is a lot of work though...it is all about the prep though!

At the start of the season, Damian Lillard will be playing for _____?
MacMahon: The best bet is that Lillard will get his wish and wind up in Miami. But let's discuss an intriguing sleeper: the Utah Jazz. If Danny Ainge decides to roll the dice, the Jazz can make the most attractive offer to the Trail Blazers, thanks to all the picks Utah accumulated over the past year in trades with the Timberwolves, Lakers and Cleveland Cavaliers. Would it be worth it to add a 33-year-old superstar (who happened to play college ball in Utah at Weber State) to a core that includes 25-year-old All-Star forward Lauri Markkanen and All-Rookie center Walker Kessler?

Bontemps: The Philadelphia 76ers. I think this is a two-horse race that could easily see Lillard winding up in Miami. But with Philadelphia having the most attractive trade option on the board -- rising star guard Tyrese Maxey -- I'll bet on 76ers president of basketball operations Daryl Morey finding a way to land yet another star.

Collier: Miami. Eventually, superstar players get what they want in this league. And the Heat have been waiting for a long time to land this kind of player.

Andrews: There isn't much leverage for the Blazers, so chances are Lillard ends up in Miami -- his preferred destination -- even if it's not what Portland really wants.

Spears: Damian Lillard wants to play for Miami and only Miami, I have been continually told since Saturday. Certainly, it's easier said than done. I'm told that while Portland isn't happy with potential packages, there are over five teams interested in a potential multiteam trade that could get it done. It won't be today or tomorrow or perhaps the next day, but I believe it will ultimately end up with Lillard going to Miami. While Lillard does not have a no-trade clause, it doesn't make sense to trade for a future Hall of Famer who doesn't want to be there.

Hey, as log as Dame goes to a team thats a contender and we get a decent return, that's good by me. Dame already know's (Goodwin has paved the way) his firm is in Seattle, and they've been working on this for a while.

I hate everybody who is rooting against the Blazers getting a good package in return from Lillard

and there's plenty

disgusting
Are there really people who claim to be Blazers fans that want anything but the most we can get for Dame?

I mean I'm still a huge Dame fan but I'm a Blazers fan first. If the offers are close and we can get Dame to Miami, cool. If Miami's offers suck and another team that Dame could push into contention or a contender already like Philly has a better offer, cool. If a bad team that Dame would hate being on blew the doors off of every other offer we got and they were willing to deal with a pissed off Dame, I wouldn't love it but it is what I would want done. Hell, let Dame force his way off of that team at the trade deadline, that will be their problem then.

Hopefully though, a lot of teams are showing interest in Dame and it is driving up the offers in a way where we get a huge haul for Dame and Dame gets to play on a team that has a legit shot at a title over the next few seasons.

Donavan Mitchell wanted to go home to NY and out of left field Utah traded him to Cleveland.
