Marang has stayed pretty logical during all this... and he's a huge Dame homer.

He's connected but I think he exaggerates his role with those connections...he does get interviews with league wide media staples and has interviewed Joe once or twice. I don't think he's probably on Dame's speed dial like he alludes to but clearly he's a guy who loves the sound of his own voice. I filter what he says with my own caution meter but I think when he's talking with out of market guys in the media...he tends to trim it down and tone down the bluster a bit. In market he is the loudest guy in the room.

It's not true. Torey is why I started watching the show in the first place. I already knew who Torey was from this forum and so I started watching it back when they first started. I like both of them. They can both irritate me, but I still like and appreciate them both.

Orlando and Houston think they're in the playoffs. So does Indiana. Toronto doesn't seem to want to do anything.
Then there are the Pistons and the Wizards. Both tired of being irrelevant.

I think it's possible that he takes other things that people report and then acts like he knew about it.

That's actually a really common move by people in the media.

I agree with this. What's Dame role gonna be in Miami? Can he live with not being number one? I guess he could be number one but who knows. I think he could co-exist with Scoot.

The space was really nice, staff friendly, drinks potent and the food awful. I was excited about the pu pu platter.
Ribs had a bad flavor (like dirty dish water) springrolls like a Costco frozen app, crab Rangoon was a spicy cream cheese filled greasy triangle and the coconut shrimp were tiny and unidentifiable from all of the breading. So much potential but horrible food. You need something to go with the strong drinks.

How did you respond?

Actually very well surprisingly. He did a screen grab of my post on here stating how he has no sources and he is the LAST person anybody should read if they are looking for inside info. He tweeted it calling me out, saying something like, “People love talking shit on message boards” or something to that affect. He deleted it by morning. Then the next day in the media room called me out and actually got in my face.
My response was, “Who are you again?” HA! Then he started talking shit, blah blah blah. I looked at him and said we all have a right to our opinion and how I was surprised people would actually listen to HIS.
That was about it. My boss was standing right there and commended me on how mature I had handled myself. Said he was waiting for me to go off. HA!
