I'd need at least a 3rd and probably a 4th pick to wash it down—one from an okc deal and one from charlotte.New guess. This gets done before camp
Dame out
Lowry, Jovic, Hayward, 2 picks, 2 swaps in
If Phoenix is getting back so little, I think they'd need to duck the 2nd apron, so getting back Little would be a no-go for them.
Hate is a bit different from extremely disappointed bro....the 9 year old kid who delivered papers to save up to buy a lillard jersey on June 29th was personally insulted by the trade demand I promise you. Myself I picked up a Lillard jersey t shirt before it was too late...wish I'd bought that Greg Oden Jersey way back in the day too. They had a rack of them on sale at Ross in Corvalis and I passed.Funny to me that all this would make somebody hate a player they've loved for so long. That dude put in work for not only this team, but this city. Kinda sad how quickly people turn on somebody who didn't do anything to them personally.
Would rather have the four 1sts, Jovic, Jaquez package and cap space for next off-season. I could see Portland doing this if Miami is low-balling them though. With all of the talk of these other teams I hope the fact that Brooklyn isn't being mentioned means this lightning bolt trade happens. I think it makes Brooklyn a contender. If they think Nurk is a value add then he stays in the trade. I think he would be good for them because they already have a spry C without any range on his shot, so a huge three point shooting C off the bench might really be valuable to them. Ben Simmons would start for us at C.

I'd want him.are there other teams that value ayton? could he be rerouted? would we want to re route him if dame and nurk are gone?
Yeah I'm ok with even losing the trade - just don't want to get fleeced.Just let it be at least a little fair and I'll be happy to be done with this fucking drama.
To sell Nurk as anything more than a cheaper postional fit is funny.
Those Phoenix picks are super valuable, as well as Dallas. I don't know Brooklyn would give that all up. If so I like that better than anything Miami can offer. With all of the talk of these other teams I hope the fact that Brooklyn isn't being mentioned means this lightning bolt trade happens. If so the difference is extremely negligible. Really its just owners trying to save luxury tax. Impressive they already have local media spinning the story differently.I think Nurk is better defensively, Ayton offensively.
neither Center fits long term with Phoenix. The Suns have to go heavy into minimum salary players with a splash of mid level guys by next year. Otherwise their 2nd apron tax will bankrupt the franchise.I think Nurk is better defensively, Ayton offensively.
Matt Ishbia is worth 7 billion - its going to take awhile to go bankrupt even if they have a $100+ million luxury tax.neither Center fits long term with Phoenix. Probably also adding another good rotational player like Caleb Martin which would be a very big deal for this roster. If so the difference is extremely negligible. Really its just owners trying to save luxury tax. Impressive they already have local media spinning the story differently.
I wonder how much Phoenix values Nurk's screen-setting.you can really find similarities between nurk & ayton
ayton is like nurk was/is, wants touches on offense, dont want to be a role player and he would stay that with kd, book & beal and therefore youd keep unhappy player who likely wont give you his best effort and his contract is big (we know that the phx didnt want to give him that money, but they had no choice really), and nurk fits them better in those terms and i think hed be willing to be a role player with kd, book & beal, as phx would give him a chance of competing for the chip
ayton has untapped potential for sure, 20/10 player easily, can be a good defensive player, still 25 yo, but questionable motor and behavior
I think Nurk is better defensively, Ayton offensively.

Good point, yeah he could really help them out there.I wonder how much Phoenix values Nurk's screen-setting.
