What's the best package they could offer?
I'll tell you again... this fucking forum doesn't keep anything alive. It has no bearing whatsoever on what happens with Dame or if this story stops. Believe me, fans of other teams are giving Dame trade stories a lot more clicks than Blazers fans and the stories and blogs don't have shit to do with if we get to keep him or not.I come back to see Blazers "fans" reiterating the media lies and keeping this non-story alive.
Good work, guys.
Olshey or KP? Who was better? If it ever comes to Dame wanting out, Neil needs to be fired immediately because I don't want that mother fucker handling the future of the team. Bring in the next guy and he can trade Dame. Neil cannot be in charge of moving on from Dame.

Bumped into KP a few times at Subway in Tualatin and he was arrogant as hell, Im not one for saying anything to people in public but he was right in front of me in line, the first time and I said Ive been a loyal fan since day one and he just nodded and signed out. He may have been upset or something so I shrug it off. The next time at same place a month later he was coming in and i was going out and I said I was looking forward to a great season, go get em and he didn't even acknowledge me, no big deal but he sure didn't come across like a people person or at least courteous. Maybe he juts got word he was going to be a goner. never did exactly understand why he had a fallen out with Paul.KP was actually a nice guy. Olshey is a giant tool bag.
I guaranfuckingtee you wouldn't ever see Olshey in Subway. Obviously he doesn't eat in places without valet parking.Bumped into KP a few times at Subway in Tualatin and he was arrogant as hell, Im not one for saying anything to people in public but he was right in front of me in line, the first time and I said Ive been a loyal fan since day one and he just nodded and signed out. I also thought the Roy contract was an issue.I remember there being some stories about a little conspiracy between KP and Tom Penn to secure Penn a new contract and pay bump....and PA got wind of it. Also, there may have been a sense in Seattle that KP was taking too much credit for moves and picks Portland made

and an interview with PA in 2011:

Poor Pelicans
If they throw big money at Schröder then they might as well help Zion pack his bags.Sounds a bit like the Mavs. Trying to get the big names and end up with Schroeder/Rose.
That is absolutely true. But maybe they plan to build a team around "The golden Patch".If they throw big money at Schröder then they might as well help Zion pack his bags.

I think that has to be the hope. I wouldn't expect anything on the CJ front to happen in the first three or four days (if it does at all). If something does present itself, you next need to hope that the respective team has either a win-now player of value to the Blazers or assets that are appealing enough to another team to be willing to pass along to such a player. Fingers crossed. This game of musical PGs makes me wonder if CJ's value won't skyrocket in a week or so, once the dust has settled. Maybe that's wishful or overly optimistic thinking, but clearly teams are looking for playmaking ballhandlers, and for all of his warts, CJ would absolutely be that on a team not run by Dame...
Kendrick Perkins on the jump just said about the meeting with olshey billups and dame…”I heard it went really really good”
for whatever that’s worth. He’s pretty plugged in
By all accounts, Chauncey sounds like he's been super critical already to so many things. Also critical to buying Olshey time.
Could you elaborate more?
He's been quelling the fire and doing a good job of it.
