You should live overseas and actually meet some people.....my 2 decades living outside the States made me realize the US isn't such a big story in most of the world after all.....my relatives spend very time thinking about American politics or involvement in their countries...taking care of the global environment has nothing to do with nationalistic profit unless in fact, that's your religion...the thing that makes you cry and sets your hair on fire as you say. We tend to think the globe is waiting on our every move and actually....that's just American arrogance....life goes on for people whether we help out or not. I can only speak for the family members I have in Taiwan, Ireland, New Zealand and Australia...and contrary to popular belief, most of those folks don't want to move here.The rest of the world is addicted to our paying for everything. No wonder they're upset.
