I hope Waiters goes #5, or 7-10. I'm sure he will be a good player, but I can't be convinced to draft a guy at 6 who couldn't even start on his college team, and is underlengthed for his position.
This is just the role his coach had for him. He was NCAA's James Harden and by far their best player.

Didn't Zach Randolph come off the bench at MSU?

Chad Ford MockAnalysis: The Raptors were high on Waiters early, but his stock has risen so rapidly that he could very well be off the board when they pick. If that's the case, Lillard may be the next best thing to Waiters as a dynamic backcourt scorer, which the team has lacked.
The Raptors are also open to trading their pick for a veteran wing, who would add some stability to their roster. If they keep the pick, Jeremy Lamb and Austin Rivers are also in the mix here.
Don't draft sophomore 6th men in the lottery.
I find it hard to believe we promised a guy that hasn't been in for a workout.
He canceled interviews (let alone workouts) before the combine even started.
I think to make sure he'd be available at #6, we'd make this kind of promise.

You don't promise a guy you haven't even brought in. I'm not buying it.
I think he'll be decent, but I also think he's being kind of overrated. I really have no idea how well he'll transition to the league.
He's the same size as Eric Gordon, I don't see any problem with his height.
