Stotts is a great coach, I don't care who hates him....he trusts his players to execute the game plan and if they don't, he doesn't get all pissed off at them...he's not that emo guy in the lockerroom...as to what good basketball things Terry does...people who hate him aren't going to highlight his strengths....when he started here I thought his timeouts were questionable....over the last few years he's cleaned that up.....he gives his teams a chance to win most games we play if they execute....I understand that some talking heads have built a culture around Stotts being a bad coach. To those guys I don't need to argue about why I have so much respect for Terry. I hope he's here for a long time. So does Dame. Go Blazers. Terry gives all his players a chance to earn court time....he also let's guys have a bad shooting night without throwing them under the bus. He coaches at the practice facility and now the media doesn't even have a clue about what goes on there....I know we're better now than we were with Whiteside and Bazemore......I don't think there's a better coach in the league at adapting to roster changes and injuries....I hope we win it all this season and if we don't, it won't be because of our coach. Last night I listened to the Raptors exit interviews with Gary Trent Jr and man do they have intelligent, polite, respectful media beat reporters who to the person thank the players and coach every post game.....our media post game interviewers are not very good....Quick is baiting dysfunction everytime he speaks...people who don't like Stotts won't like any players coach...those coaches let players enjoy playing basketball and don't overreact when times are tough. We have the best lockerroom culture in the NBA....maybe in all pro sports.
