yes thats what you're reading, though I for one wouldn't hang my hat on any of those figures yet. In the next year whats really what will probably come out with the NIL landscape. College football is big business and it's about time the athletes shared in the revenue.

So Phil offered 2 billion for the team. The Suns just sold for $4 billion. And Dwight Jaynes said the rumor is that Jody won't sell to Phil now.

Did Dwight say she will not sell to Phil at any price? Rumors are they were targeting $3B.

Did Dwight say why? and I think if the money was fair and around the same as other offers the nba will absolutely make her sell to Mr Nike. Every league has wanted Phil knight for years.

That’s what they made the Maloof brothers do when they wanted to sell to Ballmer when they refused the current new owner

Because it's highly likely that Phil launched a smear campaign against her right after he made the offer. There were several articles trashing her past. Most people think he was trying to pressure her into selling.

Who’s to say he did that. I’m sure he knows that would have screwed his chances at buying the team which seems to be his goal
 
Oregon's 5th 4*/5* flip of the day...

For context: The only P12 teams to sign more than five 4/5* players are USC/Utah... Oregon has flipped that many in one day. Wild.

They certainly seem to have made very good use of the NIL $$$ they had set aside for him that suddenly became available.

Well, I did say I’m skeptical of a safety (in particular) getting 2m before even playing a down. QB… DL… a little easier to believe.

But it’s also clear that things have changed. I forgot the numbers TAMU openly paid for that top ranked recruiting class.

Ohio States coach, Ryan Day, asked for at least 10million (maybe more) to RETAIN players or they’ll hit the transfer portal.

(I also think this is where the whole “tampering” thing comes in to play and why this whole NIL thing will continue to develop.)
 
Oregon still hasn't received a Letter of Intent from Bowen or Dickey... rumblings that Peyton's Mom is not happy with his choice.

I watched his commitment and what I saw was that mom fully expected him to pick Oregon and was not happy that he trolled Notre Dame with his hat trick

but it's possible the parents are applying some brakes
 
With most of the precincts reporting, rivals has Oregon with the top class in the Pac 12 and #8 class overall... but it's better then that. Via the portal they landed two top OLineman targets, including the top guy overall, filling some major needs. I'm reading that the two top guys who've given a verbal but not signed (Dickey, Bowen) are likely to do so shortly. The one verbal thats 50-50 is Colorado LB Blake Purchase who is mulling Deion's pitch to stay home.
