Yes, it is ridiculous. Granted that the odds of the Ducks winning out in their last 4 games against 4 good opponents are not very good. However, if they manage to do so and they jumped up into the top 4, they could just as easily jump to the top 3 and avoid GA if GA wins out. Either way, anyone who takes into account the score of the Oregon-GA loss in the first week of the season is not very smart or has an agenda. Oregon would not be #6 if the final score was a factor. We need an expanded PO format so the league champions are all included. This will also allow for better non-conference scheduling.
