Try paying attention to the games rather than rely on preconceived notions. Both of them are doing much better in that regard.
They may be doing better but they are shooting far more than anybody else on the team. The offense looks like ass when they are in. No spacing, guys aren't moving.

I've watched enough to know I'm not interested in making it a priority.

That part is fair, but you said, "and refuse to give effort on defense or rebounding." Their improved energy in those categories says the effort is there.

As far as dominating the offense, Grant doesn't do that nearly as much as he's scapegoated for. Most of his 3's are catch-and-shoot, and anything closer to the hoop is usually a quick drive and spin. He rarely over-dribbles the ball. Simons is a different matter, as he's basically incapable of making easy shots in the flow of the offense. He has to up the degree of difficulty dramatically for the ball to go through the hoop, and that means lots of freelancing.

True, I may be still frustrated from prior seasons so when I see a hint of bad habit (Grant missing blockouts or Simons pounding the ball) it turns me off right away.

You're right, I've just lost patience with them. If they could turn it all around and fix those flaws I'd be more than happy with these guys.

I'm not seeing enough and it hasn't been sustained enough to impact my opinion of them. But I hope their efforts add to their trade value.

I actually like Grant's play a lot better this year, which is why I'd trade him last of the three. He's a crappy forward, but I kinda like him as our starting SG. But Anfernee still can't play the point but also still has to have the ball in his hands to be effective, and Deandre is average at best on D and downright annoying on O. A couple of games back we got a few lob dunks off him and that was fun, but I think it's too easy for teams to take that away from him. If Timelord ever gets healthy then Ayton should be shipped out (assuming somebody wants him.)

If scoot becomes even an average shooter then he arguable was worth the pick. He still makes a lot of mistakes so the best thing to do is play him for 35 min a game.

Agreed. That's the best way for him to learn not to make those mistakes.

I agree and it's weird that he seems to be the one they are trying to trade first. I suspect that is because the other two have no trade value. I would still get rid of them as long as we didn't have to send picks out with them.

How can people be so bent over winning a few games when two years ago we won 33 and landed the 3rd pick but last year won ten games less (23) and landed the 7th pick?

Don't those facts prove a few wins don't really matter that much?

There is a reason its called a lottery…..
What is the benefit of winning 33 games instead of 23?

Yeah there isn't one, we need to finish in the bottom three especially this season and Joe just isn't willing to do what needs to be done to get us there in a way that makes sense and doesn't include Jerami Grant sitting out half of his 11th season in the league. Let's hope Joe pulls his head out of his ass before the trade deadline but since he's been straddling the fence this long, I'm no longer holding my breath.

Btw Scooter has gone down hill the last 5 games very quickly..

Huge bust

last year, in the last 25 games or so I was talking about, none

this season, 14 minutes a game; about 55% of Scoot's minutes
Interesting... is the a significant difference in his production during those 14 minutes vs the minutes without him?

Does Ant's productivity go up or down?
