Feel like this is pretty wack. The reason why we shipped Ed Davis was to give ZC minutes, but even then it seems like we didn't give Zach a fair shot at it.

What's the difference Ed and Kanter? No doubt Kanter produces, but the same offensive and defensive liabilities we held against Ed are the same one Kanter possesses.

I take it we get more W's but it doesn't change the playoff picture.

Let's look at the #'s between Ed and Enes.

Per 36 minutes:

Player 1:

19.6 pts, 14.7 boards and .5 blocks

Player 1:

11.6 pts, 17 boards and .8 blocks.

Oh and most importantly:

Player 1:

81% from the FT

3.4 fouls per 36

Player 2:

58% from the FT

5.5 fouls per 36

Player 1 is Kanter, player 2 is Davis.

I don't think Ed's defense is worth 8 points and significantly better FT% in Kanter.

I have a serious question, and I know I'm going to receive a lot of heat for asking it, but how do Harkless / Aminu compare to other to other teams starting forwards? I feel like they have to be among the worst. Probably bottom 3rd of the league? Why are the Blazers so married to starting those guys together. I'm at a stage where I just don't get it... I understand you're saying that this is what "Stotts" will do, but I just find it frustrating.

First, Aminu is our best PF at this stage so that's why he starts. As for Harkless, he has been starting mainly because it has been very recent that Layman has been playing well and is playing more minutes than Harkless recently. Hood just came on the team so his role is yet to be defined.

In terms of all the players on the buyout market he is is best player of them all and it's not even close cause most of the other buyout players are guys who prolly only have a couple more years in the league for most part. Does he have his warts sure he does ( defense not good ) specially this year where he is ranked as worst defensive center. However maybe getting out of NY and all the media coverage of his issue with his home country will revitalize him into the borderline all star he can play like at times.

Also if anyone comes on and says he will take away minutes from Myers and this being a bad thing and i did see this on the Kanter article on B-Edge just don't. Only way a person could say this is if they are friends with Myers in real life or something like that cause he is just bad and lost on the court.

Starters
Dame, CJ, Mo, Aminu, Nurk

Bench
Curry, Hood, Turner, Laymen, Kanter

Closing offense lineup
Dame, CJ, Hood, Layman, Nurk

Closing Defense
Dame, Hood, Layman, Aminu, Nurk

If you are really putting a defensive lineup out there, I'd sub Turner for Dame. That might piss off the natives, but for defense, Turner is better.

I’m thinking more of with a lead not just a possession. Gonna have Dame in there unless you are calling TO right after you get possession.

I'm pretty frickin happy about this....exactly what we needed...like Aldridge, Kanter will make teams pay for loading up on the guards way more than Chief, Mo or Zach would….I think he should start next to Nurk...he's going to open up the lanes for Dame and CJ like they have never had since Aldridge was here with Rolo

This is so good no more Myers unless it's garbage time which is the perfect time for a garbage player -- btw thanks NeO and i hate to say it but Myers was a Paul Allen guy and he loved him too so it's not all on NeO
LOL. where the fuck did you get that?

Aminu might be our best PF but that says alot... I actually don't mind Aminu, but that tandem isn't good, you get like one game every couple weeks where one of them gives you something on offense. They have had a huge deficiency at forward for a couple years though it hasn't been addressed. Now though that have finally got other options I think it's time to try them. Heck if you're determined to start Moe because of his feelings, bench Aminu and Play Collins or Layman.

I hear you have to have at least two kills for OO status according to MI6

The 2nd was 'considerably' easier.

Shoutout to Neil....I wonder if this was the "big thing" Dame alluded to after the Hood signing

I really hope Stotts uses him the right way.

And on another note if we have any more stretches in the game this year with single digit or lower scoring quarters then that is so 100% on Stotts. With the addition of offensive players like Hood and Kanter then he needs to be quicker on the subs when we fall into scoring droughts. Stotts is running out of excuses very quickly ...
