I think Im ok with My Starters: Dame, Hood, Layman, Collins, Nurkic. Bench CJ, Aminu, Kanter. Maybe you put Seth in here or there, and other guys might play in certain situations, like foul trouble.

Not likely as long as Terry is the coach. More like:

Dame, CJ, Harkless, Aminu, Nurk
Curry, Hood, ET, Layman, Turk (gotta patent the Nurk-Turk duo name). Collins will get some of Layman's minutes, too.

So, don't fire Olshey?

Feel like this is pretty wack. The reason why we shipped Ed Davis was to give ZC minutes, but even then it seems like we didn't give Zach a fair shot at it.

What's the difference Ed and Kanter? No doubt Kanter produces, but the same offensive and defensive liabilities we held against Ed are the same one Kanter possesses.

I take it we get more W's but it doesn't change the playoff picture.

Start him next to Nurk.

Fight me.

He played a bunch next to Adams with OKC. But that was years ago, not sure we could get away with that now. But there will probably be opportunities for them to play with each other.

I have a serious question, and I know I'm going to receive a lot of heat for asking it, but how do Harkless / Aminu compare to other to other teams starting forwards? I feel like they have to be among the worst. Probably bottom 3rd of the league? Why are the Blazers so married to starting those guys together. I'm at a stage where I just don't get it... I understand you're saying that this is what "Stotts" will do, but I just find it frustrating.

#1: he's not much like Davis at all. Setting aside that he's a few years younger, he's a much more skilled offensive player than Davis will ever be.

#2: a GM should not only make moves that "change the playoff picture". Especially when it's obvious Golden State is going to win it all again, anyway. If Kantner can produce here and we can deal with his defensive issues (and they're significant) then it is a good move, even if it "only" results in extra wins.
