How is it allowed for him to simply go to some random judge he himself appointed and the judge is then able to pause the investigation indefinitely at their own discretion? This is just so nonsensical. What a fucked up country.

This was always going to happen. It’s why from Day 1 I have said he will never ever be held accountable. This is a waste of time.

Very nonsensical. She should have had to recuse herself.

It will drag on and he will run for president and if he wins he will be unchargeable for 4 years. By that time, this will have disappeared. That's the plan.

It will be interesting to see who she picks as the special master. Both sides get to put up a candidate and she gets to choose. Probably not hard to guess who she is going to choose.
 
The one thing Trump is an expert at is tying up litigation in the courts until he's exhausted every play...he's been in court his whole life...he lives there. Lawyers basically ran his administration from the day he got elected....it's the lawyers that will bring him down in the end. He's running out of options but honestly, it doesn't look good...phase 2 of the Jan 6 committee is going to be all about the money trail from Trump's war chest and how he didn't use it for it's intended purpose. He's basically grifted and conned millions of dollars from his followers without spending a penny of it on anyone but himself and his lawyers. His defense fund has covered the massive debt he had when in office. Biggest fuck you to America ever to happen is this guy. Crush him and finish him off before he grows another set of horns.

The January 6th committee is taking too long. It's background noise now. There was no need for a public court of opinion. His supporters will always think he is innocent and everyone else knows he is guilty. They should have just investigated, put out their results, and passed it to the DOJ, so they could bring charges.

Watergate took a hell of a lot longer and had a lot fewer crimes to investigate and fewer inner circle guilty parties....the commission is being meticulous and detailed...they have to be to hold that many people accountable from one administration.....we are used to instant gratification like a netflix series can bring but this is a strong shoring up of the whole democratic framework....most important time in American history to secure democracy.I don't think young people are paying much attention and that's a shame.

It started with cops killing black people with unnecessary force...and that has been going on your whole lifetime and mine..facts are your friend...get to know them..without racial profiling and racism in general, there would be no need for an organization called black lives matter. Fact is there is a need for civil rights leaders to stand up to racial profiling in the world....same with China and the Muslim population there.. racism is racism. I push back on this a little bit... There were so many people and so many crimes. They are recovening this month, and it'll be back in the limelight. The reason it feels so small right now is because of what happened during it's recess. He's done so many corrupt things and incited a coup. There's only so much for our attention span to focus on lol.


It's more baffling there are people who still think this is a witch hunt. Pro tip: if they found all this verifiable evidence beyond a reasonable doubt, guess what... Your fuckboi is a piece of shit.

Head of Cowboys for Trump was removed from office as county commissioner and barred from running again under 14th amendment due to his participation in January 6 insurrection. Guess he didn't have unqualified judge in his pocket.
 
This judge that is going to allow a special master to review the material Trump stole or sold should be imprisoned ....a special master can only be used in a case where there's the highest probability of innocence before the act. This is clearly not the case so this is a case of Trump buying a judge to exonorate him from all responsibility. The government needs to immediately appeal this judge's ruling.
 
When Trump filed his nonsense suit against Hillary Clinton, which was laughed out of court, he tried, I successfully, to have it brought before judge Aileen Cannon. Yes, the same one who issued a legally nonsensical ruling in this case.

Documents about such highly classified operations require special clearances on a need-to-know basis, not just top-secret clearance. Some special-access programs can have as few as a couple dozen government personnel authorized to know of an operation’s existence. Records that deal with such programs are kept under lock and key, almost always in a secure compartmented information facility, with a designated control officer to keep careful tabs on their location.

But such documents were stored at Mar-a-Lago, with uncertain security, more than 18 months after Trump left the White House.

After months of trying, according to government court filings, the FBI has recovered more than 300 classified documents from Mar-a-Lago this year: 184 in a set of 15 boxes sent to the National Archives and Records Administration in January, 38 more handed over by a Trump lawyer to investigators in June, and more than 100 additional documents unearthed in acourt-approved search on Aug. 8.
