Nobody said anything about them being "a big deal". Simply worthy of attention/interest. And even when considering multi-billion dollar enterprise, 10% is pretty significant. Yes, there's no "proof" that she "cares" about the team, but it is more reasonable than not to assume that she is aware of its status and performance.

Financially sure. Performance on the court, who knows. Every really, really rich person I've ever known, pays people, who pay people to monitor that stuff and has a real interest in only a few of their businesses beyond the "numbers".

You gotta have at least a passable bench and we don't even have that. We do well until we start substituting in our bench. Also, without a bench our starters have to play longer and longer minutes. A lot of this will ease when we get our injured players back. Still, a bench is important.

The last figures that I heard were that the Blazers were worth $2 Billion and her wealth was estimated at $17 Billion and going down.
However, I haven't reviewed these numbers in a couple years and it looks like things have changed. I now see that the Blazers' wealth is $1.6 Billion and it appears that Jody Allen's net worth is about $20 Billion. So, I was 100% right about the value of the Trail Blazers and the net worth of Jody. Oh come on, surely by now you know me.

Couldn't keep the team together because Turner & Leonard were grossly overpaid and CJ somewhat overpaid, no? If we still had Aminu, Hark, Leonard, and for all we knew Zach, we could have gotten by with a lesser center than HW who will be overkill when Nurk returns.

You are ASSUMING that the Blazers were part of PA's "vision". I don't think that's a safe assumption. As much as PA loved the Blazers, he also placed it in the appropriate context....Basketball is entertainment. There are many things that are infinitely more important, that I would assume is the basis of Jody's statement.

Thus far it appears you the basis of your arguments are based on your unsubstantiated speculation than any concrete absolutes.

Granted, unless someone has direct access to Jody and can explicitly talk to her about the plans moving forward - everyone's opinion is based on speculation.

But you were insinuating that Jody cared about the Blazers. That's no different than saying she doesn't care.

Jody stated last year after PA passing that she's never been much of a basketball fan. Admittedly, there is a big difference between being a fan & being an owner. She doesn't HAVE to like basketball to be intimately involved with the team.
