I got too much going on in my life to use my valuable time to “stalk” anybody.
So because I seem to be the reason and sole cause of all of this, the forum’s downturn, it’s time for me to step away. According to this guy, there are tons of people who will be happy about this. And maybe all the people who have quit this site because of me will return, as will the harmony.
Talking about my Blazers isn’t more important than putting my kids though college and being able to pay my bills.
It has been a fantastic run. I will miss the interactions for sure.
I will still be reading I’m sure, and I will work to keep the photography and sneakers thread alive over in OT.

I hope this post doesn’t get taken down, but I do want you guys to know that the SOLE reason I am stepping away, is this dude. Plain and simple. For the betterment of the Sly and the site. You sir deserve credit, not blame for how S2 is being run bro. Keep grinding.
We are all lucky to have a place to come talk hoops and smack.
Off to go help my daughter gets some shots off at the park with the dogs. It’s a beautiful day here in my glorious hometown of Portland, regardless of what you read.


I do have one request, PLEASE keep the Melo thread going for me, it would mean a lot.

This result sure takes the shine off this place for me. It’s completely baffling. It’s an embarrassment.

I’ve tried to understand the negative emotions that @THE HCP elicits but I quite literally can’t make sense of it. And I like the aggrieved! It’s almost like a satire of sensitivity, or a social experiment or something. Perhaps some of us take things a bit personally, perhaps some of us have zero sense of humor, I don’t know, but I do know, without a doubt, that this sets an awful precedence and the loss of posters like @THE HCP will make this place worse. Period.

Furthermore, this business of contracted the Blazers, is garbage human behavior. People that do things like this are cowards and fuck you.

Fuck man. I have admitted and apologized over and over and yet none of you even see your own hypocrisy while trying to call me out.
I dont want hcp to leave i just wanted him to give fellow Blazers fans the respect they deserve. He couldn't do that and i couldn't resist laying into him every time he went after someone who he knew didnt like his antics.

soooo many piling on with ignorant comments based on a one sided viewpoint with an uninformed condemnation of me.

now i know what it feels loke for an innocent person to be judged guilty....

again, ive apologized many times and no one has said anything aBout that, but yet i should be ashamed.

unfucking real but typical of many of todays mindsets with instant judgements based on little to no facts... or hearsay...

as a group of people who often boast about being informed, woke and generally having a higher sense of reality than the masses, im truly stunned at how many just post hate on me without asking a single question....

He has no part in it. He's done nothing in this forum I have ever seen to warrant anything more than a backhanded post. Of which he has received more than his share.

Because of this forum (and the fact that people know who his bosses are).

Why would he stick around and run the risk of someone else doing the same thing again? Take anything he says out of context, fire it off to the Blazers and blammo, he's fired.

Fuck that. If I was in his shoes, I'd never post here again and go on with my life.

Also, if I was someone else on here, I'd stop talking about it or trying to justify any of it, and create a new screen name, wait a few months and then start posting again making sure NOT to be obvious about who I am.

The fact someone is on here, taking notes and reporting HCP to his boss... definitely makes me more cautious about what I share or say here. And pretty much everything I say here is lighthearted and/or in jest. There is a COWARD amongst us, and he/she is ruining the forum for all of us.

I just think there’s nothing to “report” HCP on, assuming he just is normal like usual. If some coward reports someone else to their employer, they could only do something if the person wrote something really terrible. Anyway. I’m done with this drama.
 
Basically one person has really had issues with HCP and has brought it up at least monthly; for the past couple years....

Most likely, one person has continued to contact HCP’s employer.................................

It's almost as if you were getting annoyed with someone and the way they interacted on here with you or others and...took personal responsibility to not have it effect your daily visits! Personally, I think you could have rode this out for 3 more years, with a couple of thousand thread derailments to really get things rocking!

I have removed 4-5 people who seem to always want to make it personal or take it personal. Just not worth the effort.
