I don't think OB is a bad guy and clearly he's a Blazer fan. but if it's not a good situation, it's not a good situation (and I'm not saying it's not a good situation, just saying, if I was at a place where I was this negatively emotionally attached to it, I'd feel exhausted by the end of the day...and re-think things).

This place shouldn't be a drag, and if I felt it was, I'd hate it. But if I felt it was a drag but most everyone else felt otherwise (or at least, didn't necessarily agree with what it is I'm saying) I'd have to re-evaluate things.

Or just change names and people will forget in 10 days.

I’ve tried to understand the negative emotions that @THE HCP elicits but I quite literally can’t make sense of it. And I like the aggrieved! Yeah after shit like this I'm pretty much done now also.
I am in a position not only of leadership but "Teaching". I'm a supervisory committee chairman for a Credit Union and i also hold too many positions where i must hold people accountable.
One phone call or letter to the right person and I lose way too much.
Can't have that happening.
See ya around when i check in now and then but you won't have me in any major conversations anymore.
That's it for me as well.

i only know so many folks on here personally. So it’d really narrow the list down (and answer to a limited amount of folk, but it’d be great for someone to go to my boss. It’d answer questions and my ultimate boss would be super-confused by it all.).

but I completely agree with your overall point.

This is the kind of stuff that shows that the person who sent the letter, who ever they are, is an immature little fuckwit.

Why? Because their decision to send a letter to the Blazers about some perceived slight/insult (etc) by HCP, has created an atmosphere where people here will now be less likely to share information, share opinions, share personal information (names, jobs, etc), meet with people or even post here, for fear of someone sending a letter to their bosses.

I mean, the cat is already out of the bag now.

So whoever sent the letter is clearly a loser, who wanted to take down the website (there are plenty of those idiots who posted here in the past and threatened to end S2, mixum comes to mind as someone who actually claimed he sent letter to the Blazers from his "lawyer". I'm 99% sure it was a complete nonsensical letter that was laughed at and thrown away).

Congrats to whoever did this, you've effectively killed one of the best parts of the message board.
