I was going to not respond to this, sorry Sly, but....
I don’t let him get to me. Even after all this. I don’t need to put anybody on here on ignore. I don’t go on long rants about him again and again and again. So the whole “HCP/orinbaly” thing.....there is NO thing. This seems pretty one-sided.
I guess my only concern on here is somebody going to my employer again and going after me in real life again. Having to have a meeting at the Blazer’s headquarters about it? Calling my boss in to explain to him how I was bullying and being a racist and they need to fire me.....OVER THIS?
I could never do that. I can’t believe in this day and age with everything going on in this world that one of you felt this was what you needed to do. Trying to fuck with my kids and my family’s well being. OVER THIS?
And as far as claiming that I “went after and talked shit” about the 2 guys who have a podcast on here is what sent these guys over the edge? Because I said this dude was “foaming at the mouth”? Wow. Those dudes can do what they want and act how they want on their podcast and don’t need to apologize for anything. Props to them for doing it, that’s a lot of hard work. But to claim I was calling somebody out and to get DMs about it? Wow! And as far as @THE HCP ”stalking” people on here....c’mon. I got too much going on in my life to use my valuable time to “stalk” anybody.
So because I seem to be the reason and sole cause of all of this, the forum’s downturn, it’s time for me to step away. According to this guy, there are tons of people who will be happy about this. And maybe all the people who have quit this site because of me will return, as will the harmony.
Talking about my Blazers isn’t more important than putting my kids though college and being able to pay my bills.
It has been a fantastic run. I will miss the interactions for sure.
I will still be reading I’m sure, and I will work to keep the photography and sneakers thread alive over in OT.

I hope this post doesn’t get taken down, but I do want you guys to know that the SOLE reason I am stepping away, is this dude. Plain and simple. For the betterment of the Sly and the site. You sir deserve credit, not blame for how S2 is being run bro. Keep grinding.
We are all lucky to have a place to come talk hoops and smack.
Off to go help my daughter gets some shots off at the park with the dogs. It’s a beautiful day here in my glorious hometown of Portland, regardless of what you read.

Well, I wish you wouldn't do that. I think most of us here understand and appreciate your sense of humor. And Mr. Bailey, I could almost be convinced you had some legitimates gripes and maybe you do. But nothing, and I mean nothing, excuses you for going to a guy's boss about something in a sports forum. And I don't see you owning up to what you did. I don't see you saying that you did a terrible, terrible thing. I don't see you apologizing directly to HCP and to the entire membership here. i apologize. Maybe you have done alot regarding this situation. Its unfortunate that five years or so later, the same crap is still happening.
If you have put alot of work into it, then its been a largely futile effort it seems, as hcp simply cannot stop talking about other people he has conflicts with and im not gonna stop calling him out for it.

Also... if i was told my joke wasnt funny by many people, i wouldn't continue telling the same damn joke over and or to those who find it funny.

Myself and others on staff have not dismissed your concerns about HCP. We have talked to him about it and talked to you. I have even tried to get all of you to hash all of this out during forum get togethers.

But come on OB, you went to Def Con 1 over something that didn't really concern you and that it really wasn't the OMG moment you made it out to be. Bones replied to what HCP said. He doesn't need you to follow up or jump in to help him. Sure it brought up apparently bad memories for you but you told me multiple times that you just want HCP to leave you alone. And to me is really seems like he has.

If you want to PM a mod when you see something that he posts that you don't like that's great.

But when you post in the main forum that the Blazers should be ashamed over this.

And you're sending stuff like this in PMs to staff, "i swear if the BLazers actually (k)new..."

And PM'ing HCP, "someone is going to eventually capture something that the blazers dont like"

These in my book are vailed threats. In person you're a really nice guy and I can't say it enough but I do really like you. But man I have to shut this down.

Anyway, I think that I've come up with a solution that will hopefully end all of this. If either of you don't leave the other alone you will get a vacation from the forum.

I didnt do those things. No matter how it looks or how much hcp or anyoen wants to accuse me i never took anything outside of the forum.

Yes i feel the Blazers would be happy if they new someone was trying to haze new members to the point of chasing some people away.
