Dwight Howard wants to be traded to the Brooklyn Nets but he knows it's unlikely. That's why he's exploring legal options to nullify opt-in

Fuck this guy

I agree

Meeting w/Omer Asik in a few minutes -- tell him how much you want him to be in Houston! He will see your msg live - include #Asik2Houston

uhhh whhat?

This is the time to really cash in on LMA. Next years draft would be ideal but if you can do a Harden/Ibaka type of deal you do it.

Yes, because a durant, westbrook and aldridge team will be totally beatable in the next decade. I guess build for after that????

Re: Now what? i.e. Free Agency

With Chicago unable/unwilling(?) to deal one of Noah/Deng on draft night I think they will most certainly lose Asik.

Re: Now what? i.e. Free Agency

Sorry if I screwed up quoting somehwere, I was in no way saying trade LMA. I am saying trade our cap space, if we get no good signings, for someone's unwanted pieces, as mentioned earlier, and hopefully get a young asset in addition, to potentially be that young all star

Yeah I meant to quote someone else... I think your plan could be a great use of cap space and let us try again for a stud free agent next offseason. The Sonics once used cap space to trade Kurt Thomas for 3 picks in two different trades. But front offices are notorious for nearly always using cap space on the best free agent they can find, even if they'd be better off signing nobody.

**BREAKING NBA NEWS**Source: PG Steve Nash has told friends he will sign with Toronto Raptors if they offer best deal. Ball in Raptors court

Calderon will be an amnesty waiver. Depending on other signings that could be an intriguing guy to bid on. Much better backup then Nolan Smith!

Eric Gordon will visit Indiana Sunday, Houston Monday & Phoenix Tuesday. He will also meet with Portland & perhaps Charlotte & Dallas. Gordon, the New Orleans Hornets' restricted free agent, is seeking a max, 4-year, $58 million deal, sources say.

Re: Now what? i.e. Free Agency

Does Indiana have the cap to sign him?

He's a Hoosier

Guard Eric Gordon will visit the Indiana Pacers on Sunday, the first day of free agency, according to league sources.

Gordon, a restricted free agent with the New Orleans Hornets, will then visit the Houston Rockets on Monday and the Phoenix Suns Tuesday.

While Gordon hopes to make his decision before his first Team USA practice in Las Vegas on July 6, he also has a meeting scheduled with Portland on July 5 and he may meet with Charlotte and Dallas, sources said.
