It 100% is and if I sat down with you for a game I could convince you otherwise. It's not Stotts
I think its like 70-30 coaching / roster. The roster isnt that great to begin with so cant put it all on Stotts. It 100% is and if I sat down with you for a game I could convince you otherwise.
I don't think so. We will just agree to disagree. It 100% is and if I sat down with you for a game I could convince you otherwise.
Absolutely. He has done nothing with his minutes but look discombobulated. My daughter was even thinking he has home troubles because his game has gone in the tank, and he looks sad. Then I saw him smile in warmups, so thought that was a good sign. But he regressed on this road trip. It is IMPERATIVE that he play better for this team to be good. Right now, he's a weak link, off the bench with Sauce. This must change and change fast. Step your game up Zach. Maybe he needs to be moved in the starting lineup next to Nurk. Nurk is getting better, and his hard work in the offseason is showing. He was explosive to the rack last night. Zach has looked like a lost puppy.Has he been put in a position to succeed?

I agree, PLAYERS PLAY. Half the lineup has head upcha. Maybe trying Zach in the starting five would tweak things for other players. ET has been bad since a nice start. Sauce has looked like he's on the sauce. Curry hasn't stayed healthy enough to make a splash. Shoot! Meyers is actually the BEST guy off the bench right now. He's playing with a purpose. Dame has struggled ,shooting-wise since the knee tweak, but he's due for a breakout soon. His passing has been spot on. Nobody other than Nurk and CJ finishes off his passes though. CJ has the stroke going but he's still pounding the ball too much and his passing has been suspect. He finally made a nice pass to Nurk lastnight. That was nice to see. Chief is, well, Chief. He's uber inconsistent on offense, but he gives max effort everynight. Nurk has got it going, and continues to develop. Other than that, the REST of the team is collectively pooping their pants. Got to change. It's not Stotts
The roster isn't great? I've seen far less talented terms than what we have outside of Dame and C.J. play a much more productive brand of basketball and get better scoring opportunities. They don't do better than us because their talent can't convert at a high clip on good opportunities and our guards can convert at a decent clip even with sub-par opportunities. It's not for a lack of talent at all.I think its like 70-30 coaching / roster. The roster isnt that great to begin with so cant put it all on Stotts.
Isn't it telling that Dame has to be 100% to be able to play well, and if he's 90% healthy then he plays to 50% of his opportunity? Dude has to create something out of nothing constantly, and often isn't in a good position to do so. So he needs to be 100% in able to overcome his crappy situation.I agree, PLAYERS PLAY. The roster isnt exactly full of world beaters, sure Ive said for months I wanted a new coach and it could help them a lot, but I dont exactly think they have a bunch of hidden all stars either...The roster isn't great? I have a video coming out tomorrow that'll explain more.
How does this relate to the point I just made? The roster isnt exactly full of world beaters, sure Ive said for months I wanted a new coach and it could help them a lot, but I dont exactly think they have a bunch of hidden all stars either...
You said they didnt lack talent at all...? I disagree I think they dont get what they should from the talent they have, but I also dont think they have a particularly talented roster. How does this relate to the point I just made?
You didn't respond in any way to the reasoning I provided. You said the talent outside of our guards are to blame for the way we play. I disagreed, and provided reasoning for how overall talent doesnt dictate how you play.. Then you simply said (paraphrasing), "No, they're not that good."You said they didnt lack talent at all...? I disagree I think they dont get what they should from the talent they have, but I also dont think they have a particularly talented roster.
