"Stotts never has any players who can play defense."

Proceeds to sit one of our only players who plays defense and is a young stud.
you on tape delay tonight my guy?

Lillard shots were all short. Does he not have his legs under him yet? He said he trained hard but man he was killing it in first half and then his shot disappeared. CJ was on fire but this is only way CJ is good when he is on fire otherwise liability. Just dint understand idiot stotts not doubling harden when dude was on fire . Good win il take it but i do see defense

Lillard has battled a cold all week...every interview he's been sniffling...losing his voice a bit

So if coach’s add no value, which appears to be what you’re suggesting, why don’t organizations just let the players run the sets and save themselves millions of dollars? Smh.

NBA teams pay rougly $130m to their players this year and $10m to their coaches. Seems like an appropriate ratio with the value I think the players are to the coaches. That doesn't factor in that owners are limited on their player salaries, but not coaches salaries, so maybe the ratio would be higher if they could.

I like to give the majority of the credit to the 90%, not the 10%. Does that seem reasonable?

If you want to give the majority of the credit for tonights win to the coaches, that's totally your right. I'll tip my cap to the guys on the floor though. So glad we won!

Any wins are good wins especially the way this team play. I will see replay at tomorrow I will then base my opinion more about the game. We did have 25 assist and we out rebound them by 3. Our 2 starting guards shot 58 times and played over 40 minutes each. CJ shot the ball well tonight but Dame and CJ has to start getting more players involved.

If that’s true then you should have no problem with changing out the coach every year, since, based on your theory, coaches have little to no bearing on the outcome of most games. Does that seem reasonable?

I like the effort from enes, roco, and djj. Lots of heart in those and no quit. Enes really helped to keep them in there imho in the first half.

this was my first game thread since like 2012. And I have only one review of tonight...

I don't know half of you half as well as I should like, and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve.

Starters looking good playing together, now come up with a new bench rotation.

Painfully obvious the starters are by far the best unit in terms of offense and defense combined. Also DJJ and RoCo have to be in every lineup that wants to have a shot at getting a non-accidental stop.

My worry is getting the best talent on the roster. If changing the coach every year allowed us to increase our talent, I would be ok with it. If it has no impact on talent, then it seems like a wasted excerise, but I wouldn't lose any sleep over it.

Nurk needs to get his ass in shape and he needs to practice free throws.

Always good to get a win.

Negatives- I watched a bunch of confusion on passes and defense again in the first half mostly.
Seems like the Melo experiment has pretty much run it's course. he isn't any better against the second units.
The team is still missing shots they usually make and the FT shooting seems worse than usual.

Positives- The missed passes on offense and bad timing seem to be just that. Timing is getting better and they are trying a few things they were not trying before.
The Roco/DJJ tandem is starting to get a little better and i watched them work better tonight.
Nurk is playing better and looks to be getting in better shape every game.
When they needed stops tonight they came.
Dame trusted a few guys to make shots. Mainly CJ and he made them.

They should not have been that close tonight but you have to admit Harden was an absolute beast in that game. Tucker played a great game as well as Woods.

I was wrong and I don't like the move one bit (even if Ant did play ok).
