The Blazers have to play better. Memphis isn't going to play like shit the whole game.

We got blocked 5 times at the rim in the first half...they got blocked 4 times....this game is all grind
As it always is every time we play Memphis. My question is why do we always seem to get suckered into playing their style of game?

Good thing CJ is shooting well.

4 TO's, 0 assists so far.

This just isn't a good team.

I'm seeing just fine.

What I see is a team dropping their bigs and packing it in and the Blazers have yet to make them pay...
There's ways to account for that. The offense dictates what happens.

I criticized Nurk once and I was arguing with somebody all night and the moment I logged on the next day. So I ain't falling for that shit again. Nurk is not capable od mistakes as far as I am concerned.
I apologize if it was me though I dont remember it! I do like Nurk overall so I could see myself defending in him stupid ways lol.

Or maybe run:
Cross-Screens
UCLA Screens
Backdoor Screens
Pin Down to Curls
Post-Ups to Nurk
Or simply make the right basket cuts when their there? If only that was established as a priority by the coaching staff.

None of those things involve talent.
The effectiveness of screening actions are still largely based on the personnel involved...

But yes, we could have Dame screen for guys like Hark and Layman more often....but let's stop acting like Stotts is holding this team back from being the best offensive team in the NBA.

Our last four possessions:
- Skip pass to Dame, missed 3.
- Throw to Nurk at the elbow, one-on-one, spins into a 10-foot hook, missed.
- CJ pull-up 3 off pick n roll, missed.
- Dame dribble up, no passes, drives baseline, missed layup in traffic.

Every possession since 5 minutes left in the second hasn't had action towards the rim unless it was one-on-one basketball.

I blame our bench they let griz back in the game and now we are stuck playing this grind

Dame cross-screening for either of those guys to cut across the lane than running a zipper screen for Dame would be better than this in terms of trying to create an interior look.

He is holding this team back. It's fucking obvious.

Pin down to a curl bones...did you see it?

- Circular action with a flare and pin down to the perimeter, CJ gets the ball running away from the rim, misses mid-range shot.

- CJ tries to create by himself towards the rim, misses.

From being what...a 2nd round playoff team?

Your wasting your energy complaining about Stotts...

The refs must be into bestiality because they really screwed the pooch on that Layman block.

Who knows what our ceiling is. Just trying to open your eyes man. Tired of people making excuses for Stotts.

Those DAZN commercials have officially replaced the Blazers Outsiders commercials as the worst thing about this season.
