Guess what IS happening almost every night?? We are outscoring the opponent's backcourt and it's rarely close. Last 10 games:

Blazers 55 Pistons 57
Blazers 48 Lakers 33
Blazers 53 Warriors 49
Blazers 53 Wolves 14
Blazers 40 Spurs 36
Blazers 33 Kings 11
Blazers 36 Raptors 47
Blazers 32 Spurs 14
Blazers 42 Mavs 39
Blazers 60 Kings 18

Is this a white flag that you lost the other argument? Asking for a friend.

How so? I was told that the 57 point outburst by the Pistons backcourt happens "almost every night" when in fact, it almost never happens.

There's so much more to the defensive breakdowns than just guards scoring against us. When they break down on the perimeter it also forces the back-end into scramble mode.

For the pedant, I'll amend my statement, "It happens a little more than every other night." Happy now?
You're still wrong. How many times were 50+ scored on our backcourt this season? The most recent example took an explosion over TWO overtimes to get there. You are completely wrong, Nik.

You answered my friend. Thanks. Still love you, pedantic and all!

You're right. Damian and CJ are an amazing defensive backcourt. How could I have been so blind.

That is true and not what you said. Backcourts don't go off on us. We go off on them.

They have deficiencies and when we need a stop desperately, both wee benched, yes. But backcourt don't go off on us "almost every night" or even "more than every other night." You saw the Pistons go off on us (in TWO overtimes) and then claimed it happens all the time. You were wrong. If you're gonna slam the team, be on your game.

So, what's the right answer, then?

So then, why do we lose?
Difficult early season schedule
No rim protector
No scoring in the post
No legit starting PF (Aminu is awesome but he is more suited to the 3)
Injuries throughout the season to Aminu, Dame, and Turner

Half of my comment was about backcourt efficiency, not just raw points. We give up 38% on threes this year. 27th in the league. Damian and CJ are a big part of that.

EDIT:
We're also 29th in the league in surrendering FTAs, that's also directly tied to guards letting their man get past them in pick and rolls and not fighting over screens. "Going off" isn't just about scoring.

The right answer is don't fucking overreact to one game and claim it happens all the time. It's not fair to Dame and CJ when it's NOT TRUE.

You over-react to things, too. Can we call you out on it too? Alls fair in true love and war, baby.

I just care about the team, I watch every game intently, and I don't like crap being talked about my team on here from people who care less about the team and don't watch every game. Nik was wrong and I backed up our guys with facts. I'm sure Dame and CJ work very hard and don't like hearing untruths being talked about them online.

Do you feel it's right to assume peoples fandom?

This is a horseshit statement and you know it.

I care more about this team than you Kingspeed, and we suck. There's no defending this garbage.
