Yeah theres no way a team that got up 43 against a Jimmy Butler and Ben Simmons led team can beat a Paul George led team.

Apparently the pain in Harkless' knee comes and goes. He sort of becomes a game time decision. This is what I heard on yesterday's Rip City Report so yes, it's possible he won't play but hopefully, he will!

Lol Adams ain’t no threat to Nurk, just take every game they’ve played against each other since he’s been a Blazer. We haven’t lost once and he’s averaged an efficient 18 ppg.

Traditional centers don’t really trouble Nurkic. Its usually the undersized, athletic guys that also space the floor that do, but even that’s improved this year. Games against Draymond for example.

Not saying Adams isn’t capable of outplaying him, just that I wouldn’t waste energy worrying about it. The real problem is Paul George.

This. As good as Nurk was against Draymond and Cauley-Stein, Nurkic is historically at his best against big traditional centers. Remember how he bullied Embiid in a win at home last year? 21/12 in 28 minutes.

Personally I love playing against shot blocking bigs more than smaller guys who just push down low. It's so much easier to score when they fall for pump fakes.

I think he's just been listed as probable before every game and goes if there's no pain. That's what I heard. Like you said, after two days off, that should be a good omen.

This is where I wouldn't understand the people who say it isn't coaching. The Blazers will have 3 days to prepare for this game. If they don't go under the picks on Westbrook then that proves that they are not being coached properly and there are no excuses for that. However, if they play Westbrook correctly then I will give Stotts credit.

I'm really excited for tonight. Dame usually runs circles around Westbrook and we swept them last year. It's the late night game, but still on ESPN regardless. A 40 spot with a win would go a long way in getting Dame some votes for all star. Hopefully he has recovered from his cold.

Their defense looks unbelievable this year and they really thrive on forcing turnovers. Given our recent penchant to throw the ball away, this will probably be a key factor. Nurk needs to win his matchup against Adams.

What is it you dislike about Noel? 5/5 in 14 mpg with 1.5 blocks, 58% FG, and a phenomenal net rating. Sounds like the perfect backup center.
