Our coach is an absolute clown. He puts CJ on Westbrook and Dame on Schroeder - why? he moves Aminu on Paul George - Why? Not to mention the few possesions he gone absolutely confused with the substitutions.
The fact we manage to have a winning record with this coach, year after year, is a miracle

So Stotts was bad the first half of this game. Got it!

I'm actually ok with the Dame-CJ switch. CJ has longer arms and it allows Dame to rest a little on defense. Westbrook wants to pound the ball in the post all night, fine. Put the longer defender on him.

Nurk vs Adams is an interesting discussion.

I like Adams' game to game consistency/discipline on both ends, but I think Nurk's best is convincingly better than Adams imo. And we are seeing the good version way more often than the bad these days.

Would love either one on my team though.

It was nice to see Layman out there. They played WB ok. PG13 they got to quit reaching, but Terry probably wasnt asking them to.
I still dont like having all bench guys out there, but that didnt seem to go on for a long stretch.
So I guess overall Id say the coaching was like a B?

Fair, but Ferg is both younger and a twig. You shouldn't need momentum on your side to move a guy that you outweigh by 30+ pounds.

Huh. Well CJ definitely uses his better by my eye. He gets deflections and contests shots well when he works on defense. He's got to be taller than Dame at least.

it's only a 0.5" advantage and nobody contests shots while standing. They jump and it's pretty clear Dame is a better jumper than CJ. I'd think it was at best a wash

and speaking of CJ....Paul George sure would look good paired with Dame
