Even if the Blazers can make the Playoffs, they likely can only climb to 8th. OKC is 7 games over .500 and on pace for 47 wins. Tonight started a long stretch of games against teams over .500 where Portland has been miserable. Portland could fairly easily be 21-35 with 26 games to go before they hit the easier stretch. Who knows what the roster looks like by then.

See, I for one wouldn't mind that trade. Love could play small ball five for us for a month and then be really effective next to Nurk. Dame, CJ, Ariza, Love, Nurk, Zach, Trent, Little could be really effective for the rest of this season and all of next.

Got to agree with you on this! Letting Curry go was a mistake. I totally understand why they did but Damn? You just don't let players like that go when you are trying to build a contender.
