Happy Australia Day!!!

Well for me anyway, it's tomorrow for you guys.

I've been swimming at the beach all morning, then came home, and grilled some Kangaroo steaks over Red Gum, and Sheoak; for steak and Chimichurri sandwiches.

Now I'm settling in for an afternoon, and evening of Trail Blazer basketball on the computer, Aussie cricket on the TV, and the Triple J Hottest 100 on the radio.

LET'S GO TRAIL BLAZERS!!!

BEAT LA!!!
Watch out for the Dingo......where's your baby? #CriminalIslandJoke

Noah Vonleh--I still think his ceiling is Clint Capela. Which would be a pretty nice addition to this team. He actually has a pretty long way to get there, but that's what a ceiling is for someone as raw as Vonleh. He shows some ability to block shots and I think he has the length and athleticism to be a really good one. If he can start scoring efficiently (right now he's, uh...about as efficient as a riding mower fitted with a rocket booster), Portland will really have something.
I would take that gladly because I don't think Clint Capela is even close to his ceiling yet.

That was an ugly win against a terrible team without it's starting PG. At one point, the Lakers missed 12 2-pt shots in a row yet Portland couldn't expand the lead. And it wasn't because of good defense. Most of those shots were completely uncontested and a couple had someone in the vicinity. The Lakers are just that bad. Just about any other team in the league beats the Blazers with that effort and execution level.

So often this year the Blazers have played just bad enough to lose, so I'm fine with them playing just good enough to win.

Well just finished reading this shit show of a thread...... I swear some of you guys need to seek professional help. Tough loss, but good showing on national tv if you ask me.

There was a thread about his shot a while back, it showed how he brings his finger tips off. Anyone know what the name of it was?
I think it was by ShotMechanics

Maybe it's the fact that he palms the ball and brings his fingertips back off the ball when he reaches his set point? Or the fact that he bends his wrist sideways to get his hand under the ball but he doesn't do it till he reaches his set point? Or maybe its because his elbow is out so much.

Check out his shot in slow motion. It's actually kinda funky.

Whatever it is, it needs fixing. 1-5 again last night. His shot is in the toilet and I have 0 confidence in it.
