Stotts got thoroughly outcoached in that series with the better team.

Stotts often frustrates the hell out of me, however just because the Blazers had a better regular season record does not mean they had the better team. I give some credit to Stotts for over -achieving in the regular season. A Rondo, Holiday, AD, Mirotic and Moore line up that ended only 1 game back of the Blazers does not mean we were the better team. We had zero fucking shooting outside of Dame and CJ.

I think we're the better team. Jrue Holiday is gonna be a challenge for CJ and Anthony Davis is always a challenge, but if we don't come out flat, work hard on D and turn defense into offense, we can win this

I'm aware of this....but the tone of the game thread isn't starting out like a discussion about the poll....it's..."how the fuck could anyone support Stotts"......if someone says I think Gentry is the better coach....that's a discussion...no problem...personally I think Stotts is better. Maybe it's just me but Stotts bashing has become a game thread theme...which I think sucks...I also think Gentry is a good coach..not a top coach but a good coach

How anyone can vote for Terry Stotts after last years playoffs is beyond me.

Alvin Gentry is horrible. I don't know how Stotts blew the series last year, but he did. That said I would still take Stotts over Gentry.

I'm not at all a fan of Gentry. But he's badly embarrassed our last two coaches.

We tied the series 2-2 before injuries. Stotts put us in position to win Houston series with a 3 by Dame and I disagree that was a miracle. Dame can make that shot all the time. In fact, he hit the same shot vs OKC in the following season.

Sorry, wasnt trying to bash Stotts just wasnt sure if you knew that people were talking about it because of the poll. Its a fair criticism that some of us (myself included I suppose), have made it a habit to criticise Stotts a lot in all the game threads.

I saw someone else say this (maybe in the cleveland game thread?), I honestly dont know if there is an underlying cause for that, maybe we need to play cleveland more? Or if this a back handed way of saying certain posters werent involved or something? Seemed kind of like a normal game thread to me.

I will admit that I watched the game on delay so it didn't make sense for me to comment as I was watching it. Even if I did do that then it goes to the end of the comments and thinks you've read all the other ones.

We're playing the worst team in the league and a team that doesn't even really want to win. As long as they beat them there wasn't really much to take good or bad from that game other than Nurk getting a triple-double was cool.

I didnt really watch much of the Sacremento game or read a lot of that thread cause of work. I was sort of scoreboard watching though. I assumed the thread was colorful.

At least you have done that in the past and it comes out pretty good. It's like you take notes and then speak your mind on the thoughts. At least that's the way i seem to read them.
